Laurence:

"The closet healer is  all the way in bright port. Or he was supposed to be." That was to far away, there was no way Aphmau would survive the trip. I forced the dark thoughts to the back of my mind as spoke.

"The Chicken Shaman" Garroth's face would have made me laugh in any other circumstance. "Him?! Oh no, anyone else but Him." "There is no one else, and if we don't hurry" I choked back another sob.

"You have to leave with her now" Zoey said firmly. I glanced at the night sky, lifted her in my arms in one swoop and headed down the stairs. Garroth followed, Zoey giving him some water and supplies for the trip or however long we'd be there for. "I'll stay here and tell Dante where your going and take care of Levin and Maliki." Zoey called after us. I placed Aphmau down in front of me and climbed on behind her. Garroth mounted his horse and I wished a certain Wyvren wasn't gone for a meeting.

Chicken Shaman:

"Samantha, Cleopatra, Patra, Cleo, Sam, Thea" Why I bothered to count the chickens was a mystery to me. Why i'd named them and how I knew which was which was also a mystery. Then I came to my most favorite and least favorite chicken. "Jessica."

I sighed and leaned back in my chair, no one at the hall approved of me staying out here all alone near a village pretending to be a chicken shaman. They honestly thought I might have gone mad after Jessica 'vanished.' I kept telling myself it was worth it, if Loki found Jessica like I had then she's need our help. But until that day came it was better to stay close and watch on the side lines. If she came back and used her hammer, Loki could sense her and kill her.

We still hadn't figured out anything that actually hurt him. He seemed immune. I'd convinsed everyone to stop searching for her, half because I didn't want them researching the land I'd already searched, and half because i'd already found her and just didn't tell them. No one else would agree with me about letting her live out her life as a normal person, with no memories of her past at all. In all honesty, I'd slipped in different concoctions to her drinks and her food but none even brought back the slightest memory.

So I half gave up-RING RING-And Katz is calling. Lovely.

"Yesssssss? The one and only Chicken Shaman who is totally happy with his life and every-" "Caster! We need you here quick! I couldn't find Sly and so I went to check on Mjolnir and he was knocked out cold and barely breathing!  Get over here!" Before I could reply I was AGAIN interrupted but this time by hoof beats. More specifically stupid Laurence and gallivanting Garroth. Wait why is Laurence on Jess's horse?

Wait.

"Chicken Shaman!" Laurance yelled sliding off his horse and taking off a limp figure with him. "JESS" I almost screamed. "Forget about Jess, she's been gone for two YEARS Caster. Get over it and GET OVER HERE I CAN'T TELL IF SLY IS BREATHING" Katz yelled at me. "I CAN'T TELL IF SHE'S BREATHING" I snapped back tossing the phone behind me and sprinting outside.
