-Zander Hall-
Wow. Ok... Jackie admitted that she loves me. That took time to getting used to. But that would explain her behavior with Pan. She was actually jealous. Dam I'm blind. I can't believe I was so ignorant to her feelings, watching her cry like that I couldn't help but give her a hug. Did I love her back?... Of course. It took me a while probably cause it's been a while since anyone has cared about me. I mean actually loved me. Which is why I refuse to lose her. I'm not losing anyone anymore, especially not my master (oh gods please don't say that I called Jackie my master, I'll never hear the end of it).
Like an idiot I dived into the sewers and started chasing after them. I heard her shouting, trying to fight at the monster. That's one thing I like about Jackie; no matter what, she doesn't play the damsel in distress. I would imagine that would have made her puke. I kept following the echos and shouted Jackie's name. I think I heard her vaguely say, "don't be an idiot. Go and get help before you get your ass killed!"
Awww! She really does care.
I sprinted to the end of the sewers and saw the creature holding Jackie. It had its tentacle wrap around her waist and stare right at me. It was basically a big fat blob. Like a slimy basketball but ten times bigger. It was the color of sludge and it growled.
"Dud, you are the ugliest thing I have ever seen. And trust me, I've seen ugly potatoes and nothing compares to you." I commented.
"Get out of here, Zander." Jackie shouted.
"Jeez, first you kidnap me and confess your love for me. Now you want me to go. Make up your mind will ya?" I smirked.
Jackie grunted and struggled. The huge blob started to change and morphed itself into a huge snake.
"Great," I muttered. "A blob that can change its shape."
It hissed at me but it seemed reluctant. As if it wanted to chew me into swiss cheese but there was something stopping it.
"Um, hey, listen, blob thingie, I would really appreciate if you put my girlfriend down. I mean we just got hitched together and..."
It growled more and it stared at me with... Envy? Jealousy? It sorta reminded the way Jackie stared at Pan.
'Wait was this thing a female? And if so, is it jealous of Jackie?' Jeez lately all the ladies want me 😏😏😏."Oi. Listen, either you put her down or I'll make you!"
The thing that happened next I couldn't believe. It actually whimpered and put her down.
"I can't believe that actually worked." I said.
"Wait... you mean you didn't have an actual plan?!"
"Of course not. Usually I just wing it," I smiled.
"It's not too late to kill me," she muttered but the creature didn't hear; apparently it was still whimpering.
"Now go to the corner and think about what you've done," I joked. I was amazed as it actually followed my orders, whimpering and what sounded like crying.
"Wait, I was kidding!" I called out. I don't know why, call me crazy, but I felt connected to her. And my heart couldn't bear to see the creature sad. Stupid feelings.
