Walking around in the Town of Beginnings, Craig saw some of the NPC doing their regular things on a normal basis, he then bumped into a little boy, who was about shorter then him. He noticed the boy was an NPC and knew that he was going to say something. "Sorry Sir!" The boy said as he almost fell down on the ground, but kept his balance. Craig looked at boy and nodded. "It's okay. I'm fine." The boy ran off as he then put his hands into his pocket and then his eyes widened. "That little... Cone back, you little thief!" He shouted as he started to run after him and went wherever the boy went. Jumping over boxes, sliding over poles, Craig eventually caught up to the boy and he stopped in a alleyway. The boy took a turn as he did to and then stopped once he saw what he did.
The boy went over to a girl who had dark red hair as she was fighting a sandbag with her shield and sword. The girl, however, was not a NPC as she was a real person in the game. The boy hugged the girl as he started to fake cry. "Sis! Sis! This strange man is following me!" He shouted as the girl then looked at Craig and pointed her sword at him, growling at him. "Get away from him. What are you wanting with him?" She walked towards him with her sword then coming his neck. "You're a sick creep if you want to touch him..." He then put his hands up and looked her in the eyes. "Hey! Why are you defending the little thief over here!? I'm the one who should have you on my side!" The girl then poked his neck softly with the sword, but then looked back at the little boy. "Kiku. Did you take this man's Col?" She said, her voice still sounding serious as she still looked at Craig.
Kiku, the young boy who was holding the girl's leg tightly and looked down at the ground, didn't say anything for a while as he looked up at her. "But... I want to get more Col... I saw this dagger that you might like to have! Because you're the best sis in the world!" The girl sighed as she looked at the boy and ruffled his hair. "Kiku. Give the man his Col. It's not good to steal." She said as the boy put out his hands with the Col and Craig grabbed it quickly. The girl put the sword in the holster behind her back and the shield on top of it. "We're terribly sorry for this. Me and my.... Little brother." She said with a small pause as she looked away and rubbed the back of her neck.
Craig furrowed his brows at her as he then crossed his arm and walked towards her, rocking side to side a bit. "You know that boy is an NPC... Right?"
Kiku looked at the him and then back at the girl with a confused look. "What's a NPC thingie, sis?"
The girl then covered Craig's mouth as she gave a jittery smile and looked at him. "It's nothing, Kiku! Me and this man will have a talk for a while..." She then pushed Craig out of the alleyway as she growled and pinned him to the wall. "You keep your mouth shut about that!" She whispered-yelled to him as she sounded angry. Craig saw the anger on her face as he became worried, but then confused of why she was defending a NPC. Why, they don't even do anything to help a player. Expect for the regular help and annoyance dialogs.
The girl looked down at the ground a little bit and rubbed her arm. She then started to walk out of the alleyway to the sidewalk and she looked back at Craig as she sighed. "Come on. Do you want to come and know, or not?" "See what?" He asked. She kept on going as he just sighed and started to follow her to where she was going.
