Chapter 14 : "Who Is That?"
****The man started to try and take me somewhere, but I wasn't about to let him do that. I wasn't going to get hurt. I screamed to the top of my lungs that he was kidnapping me and no one seemed to hear me. The music was blasting as loud as it could go, and I was helpless.
He held me up on over his shoulder and I kept kicking to try to escape. I was scared for my life. I managed to flip back to my feet and kick him right in his 'down there' as I ran for my life. He then bent over in pain which was good, so I could make a run for it.
I sprinted upstairs thinking he wouldn't find me there. The last door in the long hallway upstairs is the one I ran into. There were many cardboard boxes stacked up, full of junk that looked kind of like a wall, so I immediately went behind them. I sat there quietly so he wouldn't be able to find me. If I made a noise, mission abort, code red.
I got my phone out, dialled 911 on my phone, but I didn't press call yet. I grabbed my pocket knife and pressed a button, which made the blade flip out. On the blade, I saw my reflection. In my mind, I told myself that I can get through this sh*t.
I heard the door creak open, so I put my phone in my lap with 911 already typed out, and held my pocketknife in both of my hands and pressed it against the middle of my face. I took a deep breath in, and I heard footsteps growing closer and closer. I did the most stupid thing, I squinted from the movement and a small random noise slipped from my mouth.
"Who is that?" The voice said and once I heard it, I immediately knew who it was. Tyler. I let out a deep, stuttered breath as I felt a tear stream down my face that followed up with more. I loosened the grip on my knife and as I busted into even more tears. I shut my eyes tight. I heard some noises and then I felt arms wrap around me. It was a comforting grip. I still couldn't stop crying, I was still terrified.
I was still terrified of what just happened before.
