Powers of the Community Part 7 Secrets and New Students

                                    

                                          
The speaker came on during lunch when Angela, Jack, Estella, Miller, Ariel, and Dawson were all eating lunch together.
                          
"Will Angela Smith please come to the office," the principal said as he came over the speaker.
                          
"I'll see you guys in a bit," Angela said as she got up. Miller was about to say something but held back and let her leave. Angela headed to the office and she was met with the principals gray eyes.
                          
"Angela I would like you to introduce two new students to the school. You'll get some college points for it. You said you wanted college points right?" The principal said leaning forward.
                          
"Of course. Are they in front of the school right now?" Angela asked.
                          
"Yes," the principal said leaning back.
                          
"I'll go show them around," Angela said. Angela left the room and headed toward the front of the school. She was only doing this for college credits. She was met with Raina Hillary and Hayden Lorie, the two new students. 
                          
"Hello Ms.! My name is Raina Hillary, as you can see I'm new this school," Raina said. Angela knew the voice, but she could not connect it to anyone.
                          
"Have I met you before? Your voice is very recognizable," Angela said.
                          
"Uh..not that I recall," Raina was scared, she was not aware that this was Angela.
                          
"My name is Hayden Lorie by the way," Hayden said reaching out his hand. Angela then gasped in shock, she knew these people.
                          
"Y-You're back," Angela said running up to Raina and hugging her.
                          
"What are you talking about?" Raina said weirdly looking at Angela.
                          
"S-Sara...how have you not been killed? I'm so sorry. For everything," Angela said crying.
                          
"What are you talking about my name is Raina. I'm sorry I don't know who this Sara is," Raina said. Angela backed away, she knew them...or was she just mistaking them. They looked completely different. Plus Sara and Ryan would be too old looking to attend high school. Raina and Hayden both looked like typical teenagers. 
                          
"I-I am so sorry. I'll show you around the school now...I apologize, I mistook you for someone I miss very much," Angela said.
                          
"What's your name?" Hayden said as they started walking.
                          
"Angela Smith, you'll hear it a lot. People don't necessarily like me based on who I was associated with," Angela said. Raina tried to hold back her happiness, she was ashamed she didn't recognize her at first. But she could not say who she was, she felt the presence of people watching her.
                          
"Listen I'm not very good at history, do you know anything about the elite force?" Hayden asked.
                          
Angela chuckled, "Funny you ask that. I knew all of the elite force members. I also know of the tragic things that happened," Angela sighed. "I tried to save one of them and for that I was punished, I almost died but one of them, Ryan Trent saved my life. Sara Crystal, I lived with her for most of my life despite not being related by blood. She had the power of regeneration. I sent her far away because I was fearful, and I believed at the time she did an awful act. Ryan Trent, Sara Crystal's boyfriend. They were supposed to be married but it never officially happened. He saved my life at the cost of his friend's. He had the power of super speed. Benjamin Lewison he had the power of weather. I remember him always cheering my days up by bringing rain on some days. Andrew Heart, he had the power to see the future. He'd always tell me when my bad days and when my good days would be. Kyle Bart, he could control time and he would never abuse his power. Derrick Wu, he had the power of super intelligence. I tried to stop them from beating him to death, but they ended up splitting up and tried to beat us both to death. I only survived because of Ryan Trent." They entered the cafeteria. "This is the cafeteria, let me show you to my friends." They walked over to Miller, Jack, Dawson, Ariel, and Estella.
                          
"Welcome back Angela. Who are they?" Ariel said.
                          
"My name is Raina. This is Hayden," Raina said smiling. She looked over at Miller. Miller raised an eyebrow and got up.
                          
"Where are you going Miller?" Jack asked.
                          
"I wish to talk to these two, privately," Miller said.
                          
"Why?" Hayden asked.
                          
"I don't think you want these guys to know what I'm about to say to you two. Let's go to somewhere private," Miller said. Raina and Hayden followed Miller into the janitors closet. Miller shut the door.
                          
"Why won't you tell Angela? She is worried sick about you, you awful person," Miller said.
                          
"What are you talking about?" Raina asked.
                          
"Don't play dumb bitch. I can read your minds. I know you didn't do the accident for sure now," Miller said. "I trust you two and Angela. Okay?"
                          
"Please don't tell her. I know she wants to see me, but I know you keep secrets from her. So keep this one too," Raina said.
                          
"Why? I don't keep secrets from her," Miller said.
                          
"Or else I'll tell her what your brother did to Derrick and her," Hayden said.
                          
"My brother killed himself for what he did her and Derrick. He was a good man, he was peer pressured," Miller said.
                          
"You and I both know she has powers. I've seen her use them," Raina said.
                          
"She needs to learn that on her own," Miller said.
                          
"How the hell can she learn what her power is if she can't see when she's using it?" Raina asked.
                          
"She'll learn! Let her learn dammit," Miller said.
                          
"Then let me and Hayden hide, and I won't tell Angela about her power," Raina said.
                          
"Fine, but one day you'll have to tell her," Miller said.
