"One hundred and twenty-three messages," I announce as I enter the Salvatore House. I wave my phone for emphasis before turning the corner to enter the living room. "One hundred and twenty-three messages from the collective group. What on Earth was so—"

I stop myself at the sight of Stefan, Damon, and Elena. Beside Elena stands our doppelgänger, who's dressed like Elena.

"Huh," I huff out. "Katherine's out of the tomb."

"Seriously?" Elena demands. "'Huh?' I'd hope you'd have a more appropriate reaction, Gabby!"

"No point dwelling in what's already happened," I retort, to which Katherine smirks.

"But it's Katherine," Stefan reminds, backing Elena up.

"And we kind of have bigger problems," I counter, "Katherine's the least of them."

"What are you doing here?" Elena demands from Katherine.

Damon sighs. "When we killed Elijah, it broke his compulsion and freed the bitch from the tomb."

"How is that possible?" Stefan asks.

"He's an Original, they have all sorts of skills." Katherine replies, playing with a feather pen.

"I don't want you here," Elena snaps, "Get her out of here!"

"You need me, Elena," Katherine hums with a smug tone, "You all do."

"Like hell we do," Stefan snaps, crossing his arms across his chest.

She rolls her eyes. "We all want the same thing; Klaus dead. Yet, here you all are, running around like chickens with their heads cut off."

"I don't need your help, and I don't want it," Elena snaps, crossing her arms too.

Katherine smirks at me. "What about you, Gabby? Don't you get any input? Or does Elena make all the decisions for the both of you?" Katherine asks. Katherine's baiting me, I can tell. I make eye contact with Elena, her eyes commanding me to stay on her side.

"She does know more about him than we do," I point out, looking at the three of them. Elena raises her arms in disbelief.

Katherine smirks from beside me. "Tell me, do you know where Klaus is? When he's coming? What he looks like?" She knows we don't.

"If you know something, say it or get out," Damon snaps.

"Fine." Katherine shrugs. "I'll just go to the Grill and have some lunch. Maybe Aunt Jenna is free for a bite."

"We already agreed to your help," I snap, "don't rub it in."

I'm sitting on the comfortable couch watching Supernatural while simultaneously being on Katherine duty. Katherine is on a different couch reading a book. Well, not really because she says, "I'm confused. The devil is in an Angel?"

I can't help but chuckle. "Honey, this is only season eleven. I'm catching up on a few episodes. You need to watch this from the beginning.". She nods her head absentmindedly, still looking at the tv. She is so confused.

Katherine and I simultaneously sigh. I eye her in suspicion, considering it's a thing Elena and I do sometimes.

"What's this show called again?" Katherine asks, her brows furrowed in confusion.
