School had began like any normal day, waking up early, meeting Kelly at the arcade and walking in with her. The only unusual thing that happened was us seeing a sign for the fall dance coming up. It was said to be held in the gymnasium on December 18th, and to be honest, i really wanted to go. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day, and by lunch time, i decided to let Kelly in on my thoughts. She had been getting better at hiding her feelings, but i could tell she still missed Dally; it was all over her face whenever i brought something up about the gang. I thought maybe the dance would get her mind off of it, so i did what any normal friend would do. "Hey Kelly?" She nodded her head and looked up from her tray, "Yeah?" "I, uh, I saw a poster for the fall dance." She looked back down, "Yeah.." "Well, i wanted to know if you wanted to go with me...you know, as friends?" She laughed, "Yeah, i guess that would be fun." A thought ran across my mind, "What are you doing tonight?" "Uh, nothing i don't think." I thought for a moment, I had no clue if my aunt was going to need me tonight or not, but at this moment, i didn't care. "After school, me and you are going dress shopping. No buts, so be ready." She rolled her eyes, "Eh, what the fuck." With that we both got up to dump our tray's and head back to class.
Sorry this chapter is so short guys, i've been REALLY busy with school and life in general. Hopefully i'll start updating more frequently. Like always, Stay Gold <3
