Stiles' POV

I was at the school library. I don't know why. It was the middle of lunch, when I'm suppose to be eating on a table, outside, with my friends. But I'm here. Something brought me here. Something bad.

My phone buzzed a couple of times but I ignored it. I wondered around the library with no destination or purpose, then I realized no one else was here. It was really weird since there's always nerds here. I couldn't get Lydia out of my mind, her smile, her laugh, her little death stares, the way she rolls her eyes out of frustration.

My thoughts got interrupted a loud noise. I know that noise too well, a sharp object going through something. My legs followed to the sound. Walking into the alley of books I heard it from, I saw silver substance, a huge puddle of it. It didn't smell of anything, it didn't look like anything I've seen before... wait. I know what that is. Mercury.

'What?' I thought to myself. No one was here, I didn't see anyone. I walked over to it and was about fifteen centimeters away from touching it before a fresh-man looking boy appeared on top of the puddle. I jumped back in shock. The boy was breathing heavily so without saying anything,

I ran over to him and got him to sit up. Just then, another buzz came through my phone. I was too busy helping someone from possible dying though. His eyes kept shutting then opening and they glowed green.

"Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake." I whisper in panic. "Look at me! Just look at me." I instructed him. That's what Lydia told me when I had a panic attack. Stiles shut up, this is not about Lydia! His eyes we're now rolling back and forth.

"What's your name?" I ask quickly trying to keep him awake.

"Corey." he chokes out heavily. I whip my phone out of my pocket and dial Scott's number. He picks up after two signals.

"Hey Sti-" I don't let him finish.

"Scott, library  now!" I shout into the phone before ending the call and focusing on the dying boy in front of me. Scott runs through the huge door and calls out my name. I yell 'here' at him and he sprints towards me. Behind him, comes a concerned Theo. I hate him.

"What happened?" scott exclaims picking up Corey and walking towards the back doors. Where the fuck is he going?

"I-I was w-walking around-d and I saw h-him in a puddle of merc-cury." I say nervously. "Scott, where a-are you going?" I ask following him.

"Deaton's."

Lydia's POV

I was getting worried. Scott and Theo jumped out of our table and ran inside the school. I started getting up to follow but Kira grabbed my arm.

"Lydia don't. Scott's an alpha. Theo'll be safe. " she assured me, biting her nails. She eyed Allison then looked down.

I couldn't think of anything apart from Theo at this moment. I stood in one place, hand on hip and stared at Kira and Allison when a very jolly Cora came over to our table. She must of noticed the tension here and her smile faded.

"Hey guy- wrong moment Cora, wrong moment." she said to herself before sitting down. She took a place beside mine and started eating her chicken salad. There was a long, awkward silence before Allison's phone began to ring. She excused herself from the table and got the phone.

Allison's POV

"Scott?" I asked, obviously I knew it was Scott but I decided to question anyway.

"Stiles. Allison, don't look for us, we're at the vets. Pack meeting after school at mine." he said, he sounded scared and his breathing was unsteady.

"Why are you at deaton's? Stiles are you ok?" I ask worriedly.

"Long story short, I found a dying freshman in the library." he rushed. "I've got to go now, bye Alli."

Before I could answer, the line went dead. I started thinking about Lydia, and Theo. Theo's something. He's supernatural. None of us knew what he was exactly anyway. Scott told us that he smells like a werewolf, acts like a werewolf and is probably a werewolf but there is this weird aura around him. He couldn't quite guess what Theo was himself.

We have to find out before it's too soon. He is very suspicious to everyone.
