Day 10 of Doomsday (6:00 am)
I had a horrible dream last night. If having an inception dream is bad enough, well mine is even worse than that. A demigod dream never ends well. No matter how great it started, say you were eating this very delicious ice cream it'll probably with a monster eating the whole gallon of ice cream then the monster will eat you. There will always be something worse in every demigod dream.
So far my dream started fine. We are all back in camp safe and sound. Everything seems to be normal. But when I close my eyes, and this is where the nightmare came, I open my eyes and I saw myself drowning in a lake. I find it really impossible because there is no way I would drown in water because as far as I know I am great swimmer. But there I was drowning as if someone was pushing me down. And what was more confusing were the petals surrounding me. Lavender petals are all floating in the lake.
I really need to file a complaint letter about these dreams. If these demigod dreams are always scary, then at least make in understandable. You can't just shift any dream from an understandable scenario to a confusing one.
Abby car stop beside the tall gate of the ski resort. I still don't know why a wild god would end up being a business man and an owner of one of the best resort in America. Abby got out of the car and walk to us her hands in the pocket of her coat. "Abby, I think it's better if you would go home- to Maine. It's just- we don't know what's going to happen in there. And I-I don't want to get someone hurt." Steph struggles to find the right word to say.
Abby smiles at her. "Okay, but don't if ever doubt that you all won't make it. I might just be a normal human being but I can tell that you three will do great at this quest."
"Maybe you should be our new oracle if Rachel decides to fire herself from the job." Leo says.
Abby chuckles, "Say hi, for your father for me."
We watch as Abby went to her car and drove away. We didn't move not until her car is completely gone. "So, can we go skiing first before we talk to this god?" I ask. Steph turns to me then rolls her eyes. "You can ski by yourself." She walks into the gate.
The resort was the perfect description of a castle. From the outside it looks like the mansion of duke in England. The wall were painted white, the door knob looks like it was made out of gold. When you walk inside, a tall crystal chandelier hangs up in the ceiling. Everyone inside are either wearing a tuxedo, an evening gown or in their ski clothes. I look down to what I'm wearing. A gray shirt that was spilled with beer and a jacket whose sleeves were slight ripped.
We approach the reception desk. A lady dress in white dress greeted us with a smile. Her hair was tied up neatly and her eyes bluer than Thalia's. "Welcome to the Wild Mountain Resort. How may I help you?"
Steph speaks, "We are here to talk to the owner of the resort."
"And what might be your name young lady?" she leans near.
"Steph Argent." Steph says.
"Huh, so it is true." The reception lady looks at all of us.
"What's true?" I ask.
"Nothing. But Mr. Cern is quite busy right now. I don't know if he want to be talking to anyone right now."
"Please," Steph pleads. "At least convince him. This really important."
"Like life and death important." Leo butts in.
