**Ch 36 Letting Go**

**Emmett's POV**

That had to be the quickest shopping trip I have ever been on. Don’t get me wrong I ain't complaining I like going shopping when it is Bella that is in charge of the shopping, since she is reasonable. Unlike Alice who can make even a vampire drop from all the shopping she does. I heard Edward chuckle at that. What I'm serious?! Anyways I am curious as to why we just got back to the house and Bella is knocked out face first on the couch. “What are we supposed to do while we are waiting for Charlie to get here and for her to wake up?” I asked plopping down on the lazy boy.

“I guess we can still do what we normally do when we are here as long as we stick to the rules we are good.” Carlisle said. “Well in that case I shall be up in the game room.” Laurent said walking up the stairs with Ben and Jasper following behind him. “What’s wrong Emmett I thought you would have been the first one up the stairs?” Edward asked. “Nothing is wrong I just don’t feel like playing any games right now.” I said before running out the back door. I walked up to Midnight and sat down next to her. “Hey girl, are you ready to get out of here?” I asked as she came and laid next to me.

She growled so I'm taking it as a yes. “You know where we are going don’t you.” I said and wasn’t surprised when she growled again. I sighed before speaking again. “Whatever Bella is going to do is going to be hard for her huh?” I asked. She growled in response. “I wish she would tell me what we are going to be doing. I'm her big brother and I love for her just as much as my Rosie, but in the sisterly way of course. I guess I'm afraid that she is going to have another melt down like she and with her mother, and because she didn’t tell anybody she is going to suffer more because of it.

I guess I have no place to talk since I'm doing the same thing in a way. Bella keeps things in so she doesn’t have to burden anybody, while I keep my personal thoughts to myself so I won't make matters worse. I mean ever since I woke up to being a vampire I was overjoyed because I was able to stay with my angel, but have you ever felt so useless that it kills you on the inside as you watch your love suffer?” I asked looking at her. “Oh I guess not but I can't help it especially after recent events. Rosie really wants a baby you see and I can't give her that, and I know that if she was able to give up being a vampire to have one I know she would leave us. Leave me, but I can't blame her. I would want her to do whatever was grantee to make her happy.

I mean Charlie gave her hope, but what if things never change. I can't see the look on her face if that doesn’t happen. It will kill me.” I told her finally getting all of this off my chest. “Do you and the others want to do some laps with me; I could really go for letting off some steam.” I said getting up followed by the others heading into the house. “Em, are you okay baby?” Rose asked me.  “Yea, Rosie I am fine baby. I'm just going down to the gym.” I told her before kissing her cheek and heading down to the gym.

**Leah's POV**

Well that was interesting. I sat down on the lazy boy, “so is anybody going to tell me what is going on with Bella. I know ya’ll are vampires, well not you and Ben. I haven’t figured that one out yet, but Bella is different from all of ya’ll that much I do know.” I told them. “That is not are story to tell. When Bella is ready to tell you, I will tell you what Ben and I are.” The girl named Angela said. I looked at all of them seeing the same agreement pass through their eyes and nodded my head. “That is fair enough.” I told them.

We were sitting in a in the living room in a comfortable silence till Charlie walked in the door. “Hey guys what are ya’ll doing sitting in the living room?” he asked. “We are waiting to see what we are doing next.” I said. “What do you mean where is Bella?” he asked walking all the way into the living room until he was able to see Bella sleeping on the couch with her head on Edward's lap. He smiled at the sight of it. “How long have she been asleep?” he asked. “She fell asleep when we got back in the limo heading here and then fell back asleep when she got in the house, so I guess a few hours.” Edward answered. Charlie sighed before squatting down on the ground in front of her head.
