This one-shot is inspired from a scene in the manga Tokyo Mew Mew, which I read a while back in high school. And also because I owe you all a one-shot, here you go. Yes, here you are a part of Big Hero 6, but Tadashi doesn't know that yet.

"There! Get him!"

You heard Honey Lemon shout at you as she leaped up a couple ledges, and you nodded as you took out your plasma ropes (heh, I got inspired by someone...) and began to whirl them around menacingly in both hands at the monster you were all attacking.

"Got it!" you cried, whipping the rope in your right hand and wrapping the cord around its waist, trapping its body in their tight coils. The monster yelped as the material touched his flesh, and you flashed him a grin. So far, so good.

"(Y/N)? Is that your phone?" Wasabi cried, pointing at the pocket of your suit which was vibrating.

You nodded as you took it out. "Yeah--god dammit," you whispered, noticing that it was Tadashi who just called over. "Hello?"

If anyone asks about the connection you had with Tadashi Hamada, you would probably blush and deny any such romantic emotions you felt every time someone brought up his name. And that was what was happening right now. If he knew that you were part of his younger brother's superhero team, he'd flip, especially since you knew that superheroes had to keep a secret identity at all times. Guilt and doubt definitely played a role in your current emotions as you picked up the phone, intent on hearing Tadashi out right now before it completely distracted you from the task at hand.

"Hey (Y/N)! Just wanted to check in and see if you're available to, uh...hang out?" he asked tentatively, and you can sense the hesitation in his voice.

"Uh...yeah! Well, not now, of course...but yeah, I'm free otherwise! What's up?"

"There's a Fall Out Boy concert tonight, and I already bought tickets. You don't mind coming with me to the concert tonight?"

You were so engrossed into the phone conversation with Tadashi that you didn't notice the gigantic monster break through the restraints, roaring loudly as Baymax gave its eye another rocket fist treatment.

"Sure!" you cried above the noise. "Uh, that sounds great!"

"Okay then. I'll see you at 5:00 at the docks," Tadashi said.

Before you could reply, the monster suddenly snatched the phone out of your hand and ate it with one swift move, making you blanch.

Great! Now my phone's gone!

A yellow wheel suddenly flashed by your face, narrowly missing your nose by mere inches, and you backed away, shocked to see Gogo descend from above.

"Stop moping over your date!" she cried, throwing her disc again at the monster. "We've got a monster to defeat!"

You nodded again. "I'm on it!" you cried, eventually recovering your ropes and blades and going all in with the job. When at last the monster was defeated, you sagged against the wall, panting.

"Oh my god," you managed to breathe, glancing up at the clock at the city hall. Though you convinced yourself that you had a lot of time--after all, Tadashi called you at 4:45, and you thought this fight would be a quick one--it ended up taking more time than you thought it would. Now, it was almost 7:00.

Hiro descended from the sky now, leaping off of Baymax as he turned to the rest of the team. "Good job, all of you," he said grimly with a nod. "That guy was definitely hard to get rid of."

"Definitely another one of Callaghan's automatons," Fred noted in a low voice. Then he cheered. "AND WE HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! We have defeated the greatest monster ever! Or one of them!"
