-Merci Venus-
Now, I'm not saying President Bitc----man! Marlo got me saying it!!! (GAHH!!!! I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS!) Lucinda is a gorgeous person, but she sure charmed the guys that were there with her eyes and voice of innocence. (No, she frankly isn't that pretty in my opinion. Wow. I never realized the standards of beauty got so low. Yeesh. And they call me blind.)
Marlo was about to fling a pebble at Lucinda but she finally got everyone gathered. She placed her hands together and looked around. "Good morning, undetermined students of Shikaku Academy. Today we will be finding your rank. Do not be ashamed of starting low---"
"President Bitch speaks of experience! Take her advice!" Marlo said.
"PLEASE BE SILENT, MR. GARCIA!!"
"Can I leave yet?" He whined. "I'm trying to break a record here, so yeah."
Steel obviously tried to stifle a laugh. Lots of students did. I swear, I saw Lucinda's veins bulge so much, it looked like the ones in anime--- my neighbors watched a lot of anime like Fairy Tail and stuff.
"💢NO. I will not give you the satisfaction this time, Mr. Garcia." She practically hissed at him.
I bit my lip. I knew Marlo was going to get himself killed. Physically--- depends. Lucinda ignored him and faced us again. "Anyway! Before I was interrupted, I was talking about your ranks. You will all be through small tests to determine your rank."
"Define small." Steel commented.
"Um, I suppose an hour long for each task. There are three task in all."
"Jee. Only an hour. Oh, the joy." Steel muttered under his breath. I was a little worried about how I would do. I've always been a cluts and well now, everyone gets a chance to see a French girl fail hard. Oh, chère bonté. I am so doomed. Well, it's a good thing I always have a will prepared in my room under my bunk bed in case I need it. I'm just surprised nobody has found it over the past two years I've lived here. I'm just glad that I'm old enough to be determined at last.
President Bitch--- Lucinda (Marlo's fault! Aucune foire!) matched around. "The tests begin tomorrow. I hope you are, um, strong enough to deal with the challenges." She smiled gently.
"Oh, if only you knew how to be more attractive, or at least a little, to the smart people. We use things called, say it with me! Dic•tion•aries!"
Steel was the first to burst into laughter, leading a crowd in a hysterical laugh.
Our President rolled her eyes but seemed a little too calm. It worried me.
"Now, go rest. Your tests begin bright and early tomorrow." She walked out ignoring Marlo.
We all stared at each other. 'Tomorrow?!' You know, if my heart had the space necessary, it could have easily ran a marathon around Texas three times. Isn't that a nice thought? I didn't know people would be watching me. I'm not afraid of loosing even more wimpy than usual in front of them. I'm afraid that I'll hurt all the people watching with my clumsiness. IM IN FOR IT!! IT IS THE APOCALYPSE!! C'EST L'APOCALYPSE!!
I suddenly froze. He noticed. Steel must have noticed the frenzy I was having. He was holding my hand and rubbing it with his thumb. My face went from light to red. I saw him chuckle at my reaction. He was practically dragging me to my room once I told him where it was. He stood by my door and I smiled softly at him.
"T-thank you for calming me down earlier." I stuttered softly.
"You're welcome." He whispered kindly with a sweet smile.
