Part 22~She's awake!

                                    

                                          
Cam's pov: I woke up and I decided to get some food. I grabbed an apple and a cherry pie because why not. I walked back up to her room and sat down. I turned on the TV and decided to watch whatever was on. 
                          
I have no idea what's on but I ate my cherry pie and bit into my apple. As I was eating my apple I heard shuffling next to me. I looked over and saw that Haley's eyes were open and watching the TV. 
                          
"Haley?" I said and she looked up at me. Her heart monitor sped up and the doctors came in. 
                          
"Sir you have to get out." 
                          
"No but Haley I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I said while they pushed me out. I took a seat on the floor next to the door and just sighed. I looked down and ran my fingers through my hair.

Haley's pov: I woke up but my throat was very dry so I couldn't say anything. I watched TV since it was on and moved over a little. 
                          
"Haley?" I heard. I looked up and there was Cameron. Oh shoot. No no no why is he here. No. He can't be in here. 
                          
The doctors came running in and they pushed him out. 
                          
"No but Haley I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Cam said and they all came over to me and checked me over. 
                          
"How are you feeling Haley?" I shrugged and bit the inside of my cheek. 
                          
"Do you know that young man?" I looked at the door then looked down. I nodded slowly and he said "would you like him in here?" 
                          
I shrugged and nodded. 
                          
"Okay because he slept here all night." I narrowed my eyebrows. 
                          
Cameron slept here. Next to me. Why? Did someone make him? 
                          
The doctors let him back in and once again I heard my heart monitor speed up. Cameron is so cute and adorable. I love his smile and everything about him. Too bad he hurt me. Hurt me so bad. 
                          
"Hey Haley." Cam said smiling and sitting down. He grabbed my hand and since I couldn't speak and I didn't have strength to pull my hand away I just let him hold my hand. 
                          
"How are you?" 
                          
I shrugged and he nodded. 
                          
"It's good to see that you're awake." I nodded and he kissed my cheek. 
                          
"I won't ever hurt you again. I won't leave you again either. I promise." He said. 
                          
I nodded and looked down. 
                          
"Haley, get some rest alright?" The doctor said and I just nodded. He gave me some medicine and a pill with water. 
                          
I gladly took it and drank the water. The medicine tasted nasty but at this point it tasted good. 
                          
I squeezed Cameron's hand as the nasty tasting liquid drained down my throat. He kissed my hand and then the doctor walked out. 
                          
"Didn't taste good?" 
                          
"Not really but at least I can talk now." I said then cleared my throat. 
                          
He nodded and smiled. "I missed your voice." He said and I looked down. 
                          
"I am so sorry Haley." I nodded and my eyes started getting heavy. 
                          
"You get some rest. I'll be here when you wake up." 
                          
With all my strength I moved over and quickly asked "please lay with me." I remember him getting up and getting into bed with me. 
                          
He then pulled me closer and I rested my head in the crook of his neck and held his hand. He rubbed my back as my eyes started getting heavier and heavier.
