'I'm not going to apologize!'
Somehow, those words were still repeating inside Tsukishima's mind as he recalled your frightened yet guilted expression before you turned your back and run away, leaving him upset and a little bit confused with your response. Then, he did realize it was natural that you hit him, even though he didn't expect if you would really brave enough to do that. But since he saw the guilt in your eyes, since he could tell that you were sorry after slapping him in the face when you shouldn't have to, he started to feel bad for pushing your limit too much. Sadly the other part of him doesn't want to think or even admit about it. Trying not to care very much as he keep convincing himself that he was only giving you a warning call, for your own sake. He just want to put the event that just happened aside, for now.
Slowly, the doubts inside him started to fill his mind.
He squinted his eyes with self denials against his own thoughts flowing inside his head as if there's two side of him were competing to win his point of view until a familiar and recognizable loud voices of two people arguing was clear enough to make Tsukishima ended his steps, making him stop right at the moment before he almost subconsciously entering the gym.
He could see Hinata and Kageyama were bickering on something which Tsukishima always believe that it's must be something unnecessary to care about.
Without thinking any further, the intention for getting his towel inside the gym was instantly replaced by avoiding any annoying yet predictable questions he might get if anyone saw the mark on his face, especially the most noisy combo after his seniors. He naturally walked away from the gym.
Swollen, dark red with small amount of blue spreading around it.
Tsukishima know it'd be really a pain if someone found out and ask him about it when he couldn't come up with any logical excuse yet. An idea to bluff by telling people that he get the wound from falling dowm or bumped into something was already in his mind, but it was ridiculously too obvious he instantly threw it off.
Walking a little far from the gym, he finally find a place behind the building, where normally none could spot him from anywhere, a place where he could take his time all by himself with the orange on his grip. Tsukishima leaned his back to the wall which belongs to a building that was standing quite far from the main one. He took a slow and deep breath as he looked up to the cloudy sky for a minute, gazing on nothing. He shut his eyes while letting out a sigh as he brought his head down, quiet for a moment. His mind is a mess.
