January 28
Today, we didn't really have a problem with Lexi. Actually, we never really have many problems with her, but today I actually liked her.
She wasn't mean to us (not much, anyway), and when Brienna told her that her younger sister had called our Lynn a baby, Lexi didn't get mad at Brienna for talking about her sister Lacy. Lexi did, however, tell her it was Lia who told Lacy to say that to Lynn. (Wow, too many L names, haha!) I believe Lia would say something like that, but Lacy isn't nice to her either, so who knows if it was just Lexi trying to protect her little sis? What she needs to do is confront her.
After 3rd period was over, Lexi came up behind me and said, "Good job on the pee. I would've done that, too!" and she was laughing! She seems like the kind of person who would do that, too. Pee all over someone's stuff. Now, I won't do that again, but it's funny that she said good job. I kind of thought Lexi wasn't as bad after that. That was the first time she'd actually said something nice to me. Then she sat by me the next period, and she let Mady know when I had written her back so Mady could come write me back. But Madeline tweeted something saying how surprised she was that Lexi was actually being nice and Lexi got mad. I don't blame her. Mady just has to learn that that's not something you do when you want to try to be friends with someone.
Yes, Madeline and I have been writing notes all day talking about how we should try to be friends with Lexi. Lexi may really be hurting and needing a friend. Imagine not having anyone to talk to at all about your problems. Plus, I know how it is for no one to like you when you are hurting and need a friend to talk to (it happened to me on the Internet not too long ago, if you don't remember), and plus, it's bad enough we bullied Lynn when she was hurting so badly.
But we are going to try to be nice to Lexi...when I come back next week. I'm leaving tomorrow and my cousin Stephanie will be here until Sunday. I hope you like her. I wish I could be here, but this is the only weekend Steph can come.
