"Emma....What are you doing here?"
The blonde shivered from her soaked dripping clothes. Her blonde wet hair fell to the sides of her face. For some reason Emma had decided to just wear a thin white t-shirt and blue jeans.
I have to question this girls sanity.
The blonde never answered Regina's question. But sadness spread across her face instead.
Quickly Regina pulled her inside ignoring the red spilled wine. Once inside, Emma hadn't moved. She stayed perfectly still not meeting the burnette's gaze. Her soaked clothes hugged tightly to her skin. The clothes highlighted every curve of Emma. She could even she the woman's bra.
Snap out of it Regina!!
Subconsciously Regina twisted her wedding ring downward. As if she was hiding it.
"I'm going to get you a towel Emma...and some warm clothes" she said breaking the cold silence.
The blonde said nothing. What happened to you Emma? Regina rushed upstairs grabbing the towel. She searched her closet and found a shirt and sweats Emma could wear.
Once she turned around she was startled by the blonde standing at the door.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to scary you" she said quietly walking into the room.
" You didnt scare me." Regina handed her the towel and clothes.
"You can change in the ba...."
Emma pulled down her jeans.
The burnette gulped looking away.
"or here..whatever suits you" she said as she took slow deep breathes. Keep yourself together! You're engaged now. You're over her!
"Hey Regina...you can turn around you know" she said chuckling.
Regina turned back to see Emma had already put her sweats on.
"Right" she gathered her thoughts "...Not that I'm not glad to see you, but..why are you here? " Regina said trying to concentrate. Is the room spinning?
The blonde lifted off her wet shirt.
Breathe Regina.
Emma grabbed the warm one in her hands. Not facing her.
"I'm sorry that I... came unexpected...I just didn't have any place to go " Emma said as a tear ran down her face. "And I'm sorry I haven't written you back... it's just.."
Regina didnt let her finish. She gentle turned the blonde's face to look at her.
"Emma it's okay. You're always welcomed here. You just surprised me that's all" she moved a piece of wet hair behind Emma's ear. The blonde closed her eyes at her touch.
"Killian has been cheating on me" she said in a whisper.
Regina's eyes widened "WHAT?!"
"Killian he has.."
She let go of Emma's face, missing the contact immediately.
"I heard you. How long has he been cheating on you ?!?" Regina yelled.
Emma grabbed Regina's hand. "For the last year...."
Regina boiled with anger.
After everything he said to me, he's been cheating on the woman I love!!!!...love?.. Loved.
