"Hiccup." Astrid whispers into her husbands ear. But he doesn't move. 
                          
"Hiccup." Astrid says again and he stirs. He opens his eyes and spots his wife looking at him. 
                          
"Astrid?" He grogs. "What's wrong?" 
                          
"I want pasta." 
                          
"What?" Hiccup asks and sits up. He rubs his eyes to try to get rid of the sleepiness. 
                          
"I want pasta." Astrid states again. 
                          
"Astrid, it's like 2 in the morning. Why do you want pasta?" 
                          
"I'm craving it. So can you please make it? I promise I won't bother you anymore." 
                          
Hiccup sighs tiredly. "Fine." He gets out of bed and walks out the room. 
                          
"Thank you!" Astrid calls out to him but doesn't get a response. 
                          
Thirty minutes later, Hiccup comes back upstairs with Astrid's pasta. 
                          
But she's fallen back asleep.

"Hiccup!" Astrid yells out to her husband. 
                          
She is currently on their bed lying on her back and looking at the ceiling.
                          
"Yeah? What's the problem?" Hiccup walks in and sees his wife in her state. 
                          
"I can't get up." Astrid sighs. Hiccup begins to chuckle and his chuckling turns into laughter. Hiccup's laughing so hard he falls to the floor clutching his stomach. 
                          
"It's not funny. I've been trying to get up for the past 15 minutes and I still can't. I need help." Astrid whines. 
                          
"Okay. Okay." Hiccup collects himself and walks over to the distressed Astrid. 
                          
He grabs both of her wrists and carefully hoists her up. Hiccup walks out of the bedroom and descends downstairs. 
                          
"Stupid stomach." Astrid mutters. 
                          
"I heard that!" Hiccup calls back.

"Astrid it's not a big deal." Hiccup tried to reason. 
                          
"Not a big deal? Not a big deal?!" Astrid screamed back. Hiccup now regrets the choice of speaking. 
                          
"My shirts don't even fit me anymore Hiccup! I'm fat." Astrid yelled. "It's only a matter of time before you're going to file divorce papers because of how disgusting my body will be." Astrid sat down and began crying. 
                          
"Astrid don't think like that." Hiccup sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She began sobbing. "I don't love you only because of your body. And you're not becoming fat and you know that. And I would never want to divorce you. I love you too much for that." 
                          
Astrid lifted her head from Hiccup's shoulder and looked him in the eye. 
                          
"You're not even going to offer to buy me new shirts?" She yelled again. "What kind of husband are you?!"

Astrid gritted her teeth due to pain. 
                          
"I don't know why this annoys you." Hiccup smiles. "I find it amazing." 
                          
"Because you're not the one feeling the pain." 
                          
"But still, you should enjoy it." 
                          
"Try carrying extra weight on you for a couple of months." 
                          
"No need to get mean, Astrid." Hiccup's smile faded away. 
                          
"You're an idiot."

"I want you out!" Astrid shouted at her stomach while eating a cheese burger. 
                          
"Just a couple more weeks, Milady." Hiccup reassured her. 
                          
"No. I need him out now. I don't like this anymore." 
                          
"Why blame her? He's done nothing wrong." 
                          
"Hiccup, he is a boy. And I didn't really sign up for this process." 
                          
"Astrid, relax. It'll be over soon." 
                          
"Yeah, well, soon isn't good enough."

"Hiccup, I don't think I'm ready for this." Astrid cries. 
                          
"Yes you are. You're the strongest person I know. We'll get through this together." 
                          
"What if something goes wrong? What-what if-" 
                          
"Shh." Hiccup rubs his thumb over her cheek. "I promise you it'll all be okay"

"Congratulations" The doctor walks in holding a tiny bundle in her arms. "You have a beautiful, healthy baby girl." 
                          
She hands the baby over to Astrid, who's still laying on the hospital bed. 
                          
Astrid carefully takes the baby and brings her up to her chest.
                          
"Hi." Astrid smiles. The baby slowly opens her small eyes to reveal emerald green orbs. She has little auburn strands of hair growing from her fragile head. 
                          
Hiccup, who's sitting next to Astrid, smiled at his new daughter. 
                          
"Welcome to the world, little one." Hiccup smiled and caressed his daughter's head. 
                          
They are now a happy family
