Leo

Day 7 of Doomsday (3:00 pm)

Things didn't go as we have planned it. We got no leads to where Abigail would be. We ask students in Boston who was under her and not a single one knows where she is. Steph is looking worst. Every time I steal a glance at her all I could she was the worry expression in her face. We sit at a coffee shop not too far from the university, Steph constantly sighing and rubbing Busters head. Zac gets up and orders donut for us. "How does he have so much money?" I ask hoping the silence between us will fade.

Steph shrugs, "I don't know how he gets so much money but I think Zac maybe a drug smuggler." She chuckles. "Or worse."

"What could be worse that drugs?"

"Human trafficking?" Steph guess. Steph gaze out the window. I follow her gaze and I realize that she kept looking at an Antique shop right across the street. "Steph I gotta go pee." I say as I stand up and walk to Zac who is busy carrying the coffee. "We got to do something."

Zac nods, "Agree, I hate her seeing like this. She looks like she's going to commit suicide."

I turn to look at Steph who still is gazing at the window. She doesn't even notice a guy just stumbles beside our table. "You got ideas?"

"As matter of fact, I have one." He starts. "We stole her file."

"What?" my eyes grew wide. This is probably the most ridiculous thing I ever done.

"They keep an employee files. I bet there's an address in the file." Zac says as he walks to our table. I grab our donuts and put them in the table. And squeeze in next to Steph. Steph took her glaze donut and munch it quietly.

Zac broke the silence by saying, "So I think I got this idea."

That got Steph attention quickly. "Is this idea going to get us in trouble?"

She's coming back from her senses, thank god.

"If we get caught, but I doubt it." I say.

"True." Zac starts explaining his idea about the employee file and every end of the sentence Steph would nod. Zac grabs a napkin and pulls a pen and starts outlining their plan. A few times Steph would crush a word. I, on the other hand is loss on the sweet taste of the donuts and the look on Steph face every time she writes something in the paper.

"What do you think Leo?" Steph turns to me.

"What?"

"About the plan, goof." Steph chuckles. To be honest, the only thing I heard about the plan is their argument whether to attack the night janitor or not.

"I still don't think that we should attack the janitor." I say, innocently.

"Whatever but don't blame me if he turns into a monster." Zac sighs.

Steph stares back at the Antique shop. "Why are you staring at that shop like its some hot dude?" Zac says as a swallows his donut.

"It's a nice shop. It has vinyl records and old magazines." Steph says.

"You wanna go there?" I say.

Steph nods.

Zac stands and walk out of the table, "The plan won't be happening until 8:00 when they close the school. Come on let's go." He said as he takes out for his beanie in his pockets. We walk out of the door and cross the street. The antique shop was painted white with steel book cases filled with old clocks and kitchen wares. There's a corner that's full of dolls that I was always afraid of. Steph ask Zac to take Buster like Buster is this baby and Zac's the baby sitter. Zac groans and holds Buster as he walks to the guitar corner.
