We go back to my house and I have some things to get before going in to work and Jane has another meeting with Cavanaugh so she is going in with me.
We eat breakfast and I make us both a coffee. I clean up from breakfast and the two coffee cups are on the bench. Jane walks out of the room for a few minutes and Angela walks in. Angela asks "is someone here?"
I nod and she asks "who?"
I go to answer when Jane walks back in and says "hey Ma"
Angela looks angry and say "no one has seen from you or heard from you in five years and you say hey Ma"
Jane smiles and hugs Angela and says "sorry Ma, I missed you"
Angela says "I missed you too, where have you been"
Jane says "Afghanistan"
Angela says "what for?"
Jane says "I was in the army fighting"
They talk for a few minutes about it before I interrupt and say "sorry but I have to go into work now Jane, you can always come in later"
Angela says "no it's fine she can go with you and we can talk tonight, I have to go to work soon anyway"
I nod and we say bye before heading to BPD.
