Eight:- Demon's Rough Day
Jadrianne—who had been watching the whole scenario from the side of the school building—watched as Nathan speed-walked his way out from the school gate until his figure was no longer in sight. She turned her head to watch the three girls who looked like they've wet their short skirts like dogs.
The scenario replayed in her mind and she remembered his menacing expression. Even though the girls were scared shitless, she doesn't seem fazed by it. If anything, he amused her even more. A small coy smile curved upon her lips. She was never one to pay attention to the opposite sex, but Nathan was something else. He was not one to disappoint so far.
"Oh my gosh, he's seriously the Demon Nerd." The pudgy girl stammered as her knees trembled.
The slender girl nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Did you see his eyes? It was as if Lucifer himself was cursing me!"
The copper-haired girl straightens her back and tried to keep a good posture. She was still shaky but didn't want to show her weakness to her two friends. "Ugh, he wasn't at all hot. He's the worst. To think I would let him have my beautiful body." She tried to flip her hair, but she ended up hitting her jaw with her fingers.
An audible chuckle made them turn to see who else was there besides them. Their eyes landed on Jadrianne who emerged from her hiding spot behind them with her hand stuffed in her pockets.
"I would give an A for effort for trying to shake him." She spoke with her signature coy smirk plastered on her lips.
Compared to the three girls, Jadrianne was way taller and exudes confidence in her aura. Jadrianne's presence overpowered almost anyone.
"You're the newbie." The slender girl spoke as she shared glances with the other two. Jadrianne only showed a bored expression. "I guess you saw all that," The copper-haired girl said. "I'm sensing a stalker for the Nerd." She snorted, thinking it was funny. The other two girls laugh but it was no shocker to Jadrianne those laughs were fake, only to back up their leader.
Jadrianne said nothing but maintained a nonchalant expression as she walked until she was in front of the three but more towards the copper-haired girl. They hate to admit it but Jadrianne was definitely intimidating.
"I have no interest in anyone." She spoke as she stared deep into the copper-haired girl's eyes. "However, I know genuinely rude people when I see one." The girl trembled as Jadrianne held her strong gaze.
"And since he didn't want to do it, I'd be happy to take up the offer to throw your bodies in the sea without ever leaving a single trace of evidence," Jadrianne spoke lowly with a sinister smile playing on her lips.
Eeek! The three of them shook in fear.
Jadrianne leaned back and yawned with a bored expression. She stretched and the look of boredom strikes on her again. "Well, later." She said as she turned around to walked but stopped in her tracks. Just like Nathan, she also leaves them a message. She looks at them over her shoulder.
"If everyone claims him as the Demon, then I'm just the shadow that lurks upon your wrongdoings waiting for the right moment to strike." She said as her eyes glared. Seconds later, she stretched her lips to a tight smile.
"Well! Hope to see you . . . soon." With that, Jadrianne hums and walks away leaving the three troublemakers praying for their sins to be forgiven.

It was a busy night for Roasters Coffee Shop. Nathan wasn't sure why there were so many customers in one night. Usually, the day would have the most customers, but it didn't matter to him because the more work he does the more he gets paid. Anything to increase his savings.
