My update pattern.
I spend most of my time writing in unpublished books. It takes a long time to write somethinks that's actually good. Sure, most people don't care if someone's book is good or not, but having great writing has mainly been used to satisfy the author, not the reader. Readers want a good plot, author's want good writing. It may not seem like it, but these things are hard to maintain simultaneously. It can be a pain, really, but us authors mainly want to please ourselves. Are you even getting what I mean? Maybe I'm just talking to myself...HMMMMMMMMM...
---------------Brick's POV
I had no idea what I was doing. Attacking Berserk? I don't know. She's in my way, she's obstructing my thought process. Once I deal with her, I can start dealing with Blossom.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with Blossom.
I didn't know what I was doing when I attacked her, though. I sent a force of red energy straight at her face. I don't know why. I don't know anything, anymore. I wasn't thinking. I didn't even mean to hurt her, I just-I-I don't know. I'm not even sure if I feel guilty about it. Everything is so confusing.
They lied to us. They were the Puffs the entire time. They got close to us, and now our trust had shattered into a million pieces.
So why am I confused? I know everything that happened. I know what they did.
I just don't know why. To be honest, I'm more disappointed than angry. I was hoping, all along, that it wouldn't be them. Just...why?
Do I really want her to be gone?
Yes...
Yes? I do? Is that the truth?
...
Is it really? Just like that then?
Do I not get a happy ending?
World domination is your happy ending.
"What's wrong with you?!" it seemed someone was yelling at me. I was too tired to look at them. I closed my eyes.
Goodnight...
"-ick! Brick, wake-up!" leave me alone... I'm too exhausted to even breathe. I have a major headache...
"We have to get out of here!"
"Not without my brother!"
"Boomer, we can't take on the other two alone!"
"No!"
"Boomer, please!"
Boomer? Why does that name sound so familiar?
I opened my eyes. When did I fall asleep?
"Berserk and Brat got away," Berserk? Brat?
"We knocked out Brute and tied her up, but we left her," Who's talking?
"What do we do about Brick? We can't just leave him,"
"And we aren't," Brick...? Wait, that's my name, isn't it? Where am I?
"Bash, what do we do about the other two?"
"Hunt them down. We're going to banish them to an isolated dimension. They can't be allowed to wreak havoc, anymore,"
"Brick attacked Blossom! I am not taking this lightly!"
"He was probably under the influence of Him,"
"What do you mean Him? He's back? But...Blossom, Bubbles, and I destroyed him, right?"
"Shit,"
"Just what are you trying to hide from us, Butch?! Are you telling me he got revived? Why did you keep this information to yourself?"
"Buttercup, calm down,"
"Do not tell me to calm down,"
I was staring at the ground with all of these people arguing around me. I couldn't remember where I was or how I got here.
"Butch, what's wrong with you?!"
"Hey, don't blame me for all of this!"
"Why would you keep something this big a secret?"
"Because he's working for Him, Buttercup!"
"B-Blossom?"
"Not anymore!" I groaned with all the yelling around me. Can't they all just shut up? I'm too tired for this.
"Brick, you're awake!" A blonde boy with dark blue eyes smiled and shook my shoulders. I only blinked at him. This is... Boomer, right?
"Where am I?" I asked him. His smile quickly dispersed into a frown. There were-what, ten?- other people staring at me with serious gazes.
"W-What do you mean? We're in the Rowdyright Boys dimension, remember? We came here to fight the Powerpunk Girls..." he chuckled awkwardly.
"Brick?" a girl said. She had long auburn hair tied in a red ribbon with pink eyes. To be honest, She looked kind of pretty.
"Is that my name?" I questioned her. She sharply breathed in while staring at me with wide eyes. Did I say something wrong?
"You don't...remember?" she asked with a sad look in her eyes. I shook my head.
"Th-That's impossible. You- You can't forget. You're my brother," Another one said. He had long black hair tied in a ponytail, with bangs that cover half of his face, concealing one of his dark green eyes.
The blonde boy put his hand on my forehead, "Are you okay? You don't have a fever,"
"Take him back home, we'll deal with this ourselves. Blake, you stay to help open the portal to the other dimension," The auburn-haired girl ordered two guys who looked strangely like the ones I was just talking to.
"Are you sure?" one of them questioned her order.
"Completely," she answered back. Is she talking about me?
A teenager with black hair that spike towards his neck and bangs walked up to me and gave me a small smile, "We've got to take you home, okay?" He grabbed my arm and helped me stand on my feet.
"Home?"
"It's this way," another blonde boy came up to me, except his hair was parted to one side.
"Are you just going to let him lea-"
"We're dealing with the Powerunkz right now! I don't want any distractions! Let's move out!" the girl demanded.
"Is there something wrong with me?" I asked the blonde boy.
"...We think you have amnesia,"
