"there can only be one reason, and you know exactly what it is." she said and went back to the celebrating group. that wasn't what jungkook meant, he wanted to know who she was talking about. but areum wasn't thinking of anyone...

{six am, a few weeks later, seoul, korea} 
                          
areum and nari had had the busiest schedules because yes their m/v was a complete success. their fans loved, critics loved it, talk show hosts loved it, it seemed like everyone who ever watched loved it or at least didn't hate it. they barely had time to do anything but finally they had a month off (with exception of a few interviews here and there) before going back to the hard idol life.
                          
bts on the other hand were still working hard all the time. areum was thankful for that because she could stop dwelling on boys boys boys. it felt like thats all she thought about but that wasn't what she felt, she didn't care if she was single or married or if every single person she knew had a crush on her because she hated relationships. she definitely had some kind of commitment issues, and she (even though it didn't seem like it) wasn't one for a lot of skin ship. she dealt with it when she was with jungkook because she was a people pleaser. areum was extremely insecure, she had a valid reason for everything she hated about relationships but they weren't exactly true, jungkook knew this and he tried to change her mind multiple times before, during, and even after their "relationship". jungkook knew her better than he knew himself, she was one of the most important things to him and it was scary to both of them. 
                          
anyway, areums secret was big to say the least. she wasn't sure if she had her mind set on it, but it scared her to think that she might. 
                          
"when does yoongi have a day off?" nari whined as she flipped the channels 
                          
"don't take my word for it, but i heard jimin say they had the afternoon and all of tomorrow off." areum replied because of course she spent every second she possibly could with the seven dorks.
                          
"what?! yoongi did not tell me!" she jumped up from the couch and went to her room. areum had no idea but things weren't going well for the couple. their busy schedules kept them apart and it was incredibly hard. they both had so much to tell the other they were afraid to speak up and it made everything awkward and they would get flustered and start fighting. nari never spoke of this because she wanted to make it work and she wanted forget.

the boys indeed had the afternoon off. yoongi went off somewhere with nari and the rest of the boys went to areum's dorm, which was super weird because she was always at their dorm.
                          
"we're here!" jimin said as he casually stepped into the girl's dorm. areum looked up at them from the couch and patted the spot next to her. jimin took the offer and sat close to her. he wrapped his arm around her neck, forcing her to lean into him. they were already situated on the couch by the time the rest of the boys walked in, staring at them on the couch.
                          
"oh is this a thing now?" jin asked with a smirk and areum just shrugged.
                          
"i mean we're all hormonal teenagers right?" she said leaving a wet kiss on jimin's cheek and he immediately let go of her and wiped his cheek. areum just smiled innocently at him.
                          
"so what are today's plans?" jungkook asked, trying his hardest not to grit his teeth and ball his fists. areum shrugged.
                          
"i have no idea but like i had to see jimin and namjoon because they're my." she paused to make a hashtag with her fingers "hashtag number one baes!" she said with a fake aegyo slash white girl slash the-narrator-is-conflicted-right-now-and-does-not-know-how-to-describe-it voice. namjoon held a hand to his heart and wiped a fake tear.
                          
"that... that's so sweet!" he said and fake sobbed into hobi's shoulder.
                          
"okay what is happening?!" taehyung asked with frustration. he was very confused.
                          
"we're having a special moment!" jimin said and clung onto areum. his legs around the side of her waist and his arms around her neck.
                          
"ew get off!" areum pushed him away. 
                          
lets recap their feelings- jin was silently enjoying the scene in front of him. taehyung was very confused as to what was real and what was being improvised by the four. jungkook was jealous out of his mind. hoseok knew what was happening but wasn't sure how to add to the scene so he just shut up. jimin was enjoying this way too much. namjoon... was just being typical namjoon.
