[note. 6/1/20] before u read this, pls know that i wrote this at the Ripe Old Age of 13? 14?, when i gave insufficient shits about life to understand, and write a story that did justice to both their characters. sorry in advance for the (imo at least) Not Great characterisations, and for taking 4yrs to write this note lol. hope u guys still have fun reading this anyways, peace out~

they've never quite interacted with each other.
                          
with charisma and glamour ingrained in his bones, iwaizumi hajime was, to no one's surprise, kitagawa daiichi's heartthrob. an aura of amour-propre surrounded him, hence the rare confessions from those who let their embarrassment get the better of them. the sentence, " i love you, hajime-kun," took a lot of courage to say despite its simplicity; only 4 words.
                          
( he never shows it, but hajime admires those brave enough to voice their love, even if unrequited. he values honesty and people who've associated themselves with the trait. )
                          
oikawa is flimsy plastic; built on thin stilts of self-assurance. the crowd's a blank canvas and he's white watercolour -- he's of no use without dark colours to blend with. he's hidden amongst the crowd, presence unsensed. he puts that to good use, seeing as his phone gallery was iwa-chan iwa-chan and more iwa-chan; iwaizumi never notices him anyways. he's utterly obsessed, he knows but only in absolute privacy does he admit it.
