Chapter 4

                                    

                                          
POV Vanessa
                          
I looked at him as he stared at me. I blinked. When I opened my eyes he was standing in front of me. I gasp.
                          
"You had a nightmare, didn't you? I hope it was mmm eventful," Frankie says as he takes a step back.
                          
I watch as Louis leaves the room. Then I am left alone with Frankie.
                          
"Who are you?" I ask.

                          
"I'm someone who came to help you," he says as he turns around and smiles at me.
                          
He then sits on the bed and taps the empty space next to him. I make my way over to the bed and set a foot away from Frankie.
                          
"If you want to help the boys and save yourself you have to listen to everything I say or else you will all die," he says.
                          
I nod in agreement. 
                          
"You do not want to mess with me. I have been around for a very long time. I also have a unique and powerful power."
                          
I suddenly feel that I can not move my body. I stand up, but not willingly. My body is being controlled. I looked at Frankie and he is moving his hands as if he was controlling me. Like I was the marionette and he was the puppet master. Suddenly I was felt as if I was let go and I had control of my body again.
                          
"So now you know my power. I can control water, one of a vampire's weakness. After practicing for decades I learned how to control blood in one's body. It is quite useful having the power to control water," he finishes saying.
                          
Frankie leaves the room and Louis comes back.
                          
"Are you okay?" he asks.
                          
"I'm okay," I say.
                          
We then go downstairs to the dining room to eat.
                          
- LATER THAT DAY -
                          
I'm on my way back to the castle from my afternoon walk. I suddenly hear my name being called. I made my way back to the castle. I entered the castle and close the door behind me. I turn around and Niall is in front of me. I jump. He hugs me and pulls me into a kiss.
                          
"Sorry about the other night. It's just when I drink human blood it tastes so good that I want more. I had to wait for it to go through my system. Sorry again. I hope that our relationship isn't affected by it," he says as he looks at me. His arms still wrapped around me.
                          
I look behind him and see Frankie. Suddenly Niall is on the ground and Frankie has his arms wrapped around my waist. I get out of his hold and run to my room. Frankie really freaks me out. As I was running up the stairs to my room I crashed into Harry. He was carrying papers and they had fallen to the ground when I had crashed into him. He looked at me, anger in his eyes. He then pushed me down the stairs and walked back up to his room. I tumbled down. 
                          
When I reached the bottom I let out a deep breathe. My whole body hurt. I touched my forehead. I was bleeding. I tried to get up but I couldn't. I looked at my ankle and saw that my bone was sticking out of my skin. I screamed. Louis appeared.
                          
"Are you okay? I'm going to lift you and take you to the kitchen."
                          
He picked me up and I whimpered. He then took me to the kitchen and set me gently on the counter. I was bleeding a lot. My vision was blurred because of the blood dripping down my face. Louis looked at me then at my ankle. When he looked back up his eyes had turned red and his fangs were out. I couldn't run away.
                          
POV Louis
                          
I look at Vanessa. She tries to back away but she can't. Her blood smells so good I can't help it. I grab her shoulder and bite into her on the neck. 
                          
"Niall!" She yells as I continue to drink her blood.
                          
I have never tasted such sweet blood in all my life. She hits my chest and tries to pry my arms of her but she is too weak. Suddenly all the hitting stops. Her body went limp. 
                          
"Louis!" I hear someone yell.
                          
I am suddenly thrown across the room. I get up and see that it was Niall. I wipe my mouth and see Vanessa. "Oh no," I think to myself as the realization hits me.
                          
"Why did you do that! You sucked too much blood, she could die. What the hell were you thinking?!," Niall yells.
                          
"I'm sorry," I say as Niall carries Vanessa to another room.
                          
POV Niall
                          
I carried Vanessa to my room and laid her on the bed. I couldn't believe what Louis did. I kissed her wounds and wiped the blood off her body. I then noticed that bruises were beginning to form around her body. I put my ear against her chest. Her heartbeat was faint but it was still there. 
                          
"Louis wouldn't have hurt her this badly, "I say to myself. 
                          
Harry. Frankie comes barging into the room.
                          
"Why is there blood on the kitchen counter and why does Louis look like he just murdered a bunny!"

                          
He looks at me then at the bed. He sees Vanessa and gives me a confused look.
                          
"Harry did something to Vanessa which caused her to bleed a lot. I think Louis was trying to help her but ended up drinking her blood. Too much blood. I healed her wounds but hopefully, she will get her strength back," I say as I look at her chest as it rises slowly. Up then down.
                          
"Let's hope," Frankie says as he leaves the room and closes the door.
                          
I lay on the bed next to Vanessa. I touch her cheek.
                          
"I will always protect you," I say then I kiss her forehead.
                          
POV Harry
                          
Vanessa is so annoying! I had my papers in perfect order until she crashed into me. I was looking up spells that can protect us from the wolves. I can't believe how clumsy she is. Crashing into me like that. Look up when you are walking! Stupid girl. I can't believe Louis drank her blood. She gets what she deserves. I hope she dies. It will be best for all of us.
                          
POV Jake
                          
I'm coming to save you. I will keep you away from the wolves and from the vampires even if I am a vampire. I will not Frankie or Elijah cause you harm. Once I have you I will never let you go.
