When I got out of the hospital, Naru's parents gave me some news....Well all of us some news...They told us we were allowed to leave now. Just by that one case we did they finished. I thought it would take a long time but I guess not. They were also worried about my well being in this.

I protested many times but they said go, so we left. While Naru was talking to his parents, I went upstairs and packed for him. Leaving the now empty room with both of our stuff I headed out to the car.

We said our goodbyes and then Lin drove all of us to the airport. Me and Naru were still pretty sick, but I didn't let that get in our way. As we walked inside the airport, we went to Flight 5, we're heading back to Japan!

I was walking behind Naru and then...Something was off. Naru was starting to slow his pace which got me worried. "Naru!". Everyone stared at him and me. Naru tripped or something and he fell, but with the strength I had, I caught him just in time.

"Naru! Are you okay?!". I asked him worryingly.

Naru's eyes widened, then went back to normal. He pulled himself up and just walked away. I mumbled in frustration and then said to myself, "Fine then. I helped you and you don't answer me if your okay or not...Ugh".

After that, we got on our plane and I sat by the window. As I began to watch the clouds, I soon drifted asleep without really knowing. Though when I was asleep, I felt someone staring at me, it wasn't a really kind feeling, more like irritation, concern or worried like feeling.

I opened my eyes a bit and Naru and Lin were staring at me. Then I noticed why. The cut that I somehow magically got during that weird thing was opened and blood kept dripping from the side of my neck. Honestly I don't know how I got it, but I did. After that my behavior was off. Instead of being cheerful or tired, I was just in one of the most irritated and gloomiest moods I have ever been.

Finally we were back in Japan. The more time I realize i'm back the more I regret it here.

I took my sleeve and wiped off the blood and placed my hand it. I walked to where Lin and Naru's van laid and went inside. The others went into Bou-san's car. Yeah, the cars have been here this whole time... Then we drove off back home...

Then a few months had past. Pretty normal I guess. We hadn't gone to any cases for awhile but oh well. I did go back to school and finished the last few months there. Now it's summer vacation!

I luckily pass my semester cause I got all my work done, and hey i'm just too smart! Though everyday, in the mornings I would make breakfast for them and some tea. Then I would make lunch, then dinner. I cleaned the house everyday and go shop for them. Tiring, but I do it.

It was really boring. I like Naru's parents, they were very energetic and funny, but also serious.

I sat on my bed and started to kick my feet. A lot has happened when we were there...

A lot...

I stared at the window, the sun rays beaming through the glass, making the room fill with light. I took a deep breath, a tear peaking at the corner of my eye. I smiled, letting it fall. I heard the doorknob twist, and then Lin came in with a cup of tea.

"Here". He mumbled, handing me the tea cup.

"Thanks Lin". I said.

"Were you crying?". He asked.

"Kinda, I guess. I'm just happy that's all". I smiled as I drank my tea. "So what brings you here?". I asked. "Nothing really. Naru just told me to bring you tea and that's it...". He said. "Oh". I sighed. "Well i'm heading back". Then Lin left the room, closing the door quietly behind him.

I placed the cup of tea on the dresser that was next to the bed and laid down. I began to drift asleep...Entering the dream world.

Naru went up to Mai's room to check up on her an hour later since she didn't make him tea. When he opened the door, he saw Mai sleeping like a baby. He sighed and walked towards her. "You were suppose to make my tea". He mumbled.

Naru sighed and headed back downstairs. Lin was on his laptop typing away, and Naru began to read his book. Back to Mai, she clung onto her pillow, gripping it tightly. In her dream, she was drowning. She had something wrapped around her ankles, making her sink to the very bottom. She tried to swim up but she couldn't escape. Then something appeared in front of her...A child...

She was dying, slowly, and painfully....

Mai bolted up from the bed screaming. Her eyes widened and she began to cry...She held her throat and it was completely numb and dry. Naru and Lin charged into her room and ran up to her.

"Mai are you okay?". Naru asked.

She didn't answer, she just gripped onto her throat tighter.

"W-what..? Just happened?!". She mumbled, horrified.

"Mai what happened?". Naru said coldly. "I.....I was drowning...". She mumbled. "Something...was weighing me down...It felt so real..I couldn't escape...Then at that very last moment a face appeared right in front of mine!".

Naru looked at Lin then back to Mai. She was completely horrified. Mai couldn't stop shaking...

"Alright then.... Just relax, and go back to sleep". Naru said.

Lin walked out of the room and soon enough Naru got up. Right when Naru turned Mai grabbed the end of his shirt and looked down. Naru turned his head. "If...it's one of those dreams then..". Mai muttered.

"Sorry..Naru.. You can go now..". Mai said as she let go of him.

Naru shook his head. "If your really that scared come downstairs and rest on the couch".

Mai lifted her head and nodded. Mai got up and went downstairs with Naru. She laid down on the couch and fell asleep peacefully. But that peace will only be temporary...
