"beauty queen, its time to get up" I heard tullys voice.
I looked up to see him smiling down at me.
"shit, what time is it" I asked.
"eleven" he said.
"I have to get ready to go get Claire and ashley" I said.
"want to shower with me" he asked.
I looked up at him and noticed something in his eyes. Hes just as worried about all of this as I am, its like he was fearing rejection.
"yes" I smiled.
He grabbed my hand and helped me up. We got showered together and then got dressed. Tully had on jeans and a long sleeve black button up. He grabbed his aviators off the dresser and hung them off his shirt before getting his boots on. I got in holey jeans and a long sleeve maroon shirt, left my hair down and my makeup light before getting on my docs. Tully sat on the foot of the bed and pulled me to stay between his legs. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled up at him fixing the collar of his shirt.
"are we good" he asked.
"were great" I smiled.
"I wanted last night" he said.
"so did I" I said touching the side of his face.
"I go back to work today" he sighed.
"yea, but you're the boss so you get all the free time you want" I smirked.
"yea I just gotta prove im back in charge" he said with a smile.
"they know your in charge" I said looking him in the eye.
"how do you figure" he asked.
"come with me I want to show you something" I said.
He grasped my hips from behind and followed me like that downstairs, out of the front door and over to the mother in law suite. I opened the door and pulled tully inside.
"hey tay, shit, uh hey boss, I was just uh finishing eating" kyle said.
"cut the shit kyle and listen closely" I said.
"yes ma'am" he smiled.
"if anyone including eric overstepped tully when he was locked up what would have happened" I asked.
"youd kill them" he said.
"do you think tully needs to prove hes in control" I asked.
"no ma'am you've made sure everyone knows he calls the shots" he said.
I turned to tully who had a bit of a smirk on his face.
"see, now, lets go before im late and your sister kills me" I smiled.
Tully pulled me outside and to the house. I got the keys and my stuff and headed through the house.
"you want to take me to Teller-morrow and ill have ashley take her vehicle so you have your truck" I said.
"no beauty queen, eric is coming to get me and im going vehicle shopping, that truck is yours" he said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"you don't have to do that" I said.
"I want to do that" he said.
"well im a phone call away if you need me today" I smiled.
"how about you meet me for dinner tonight" he asked.
