After finally carrying Demi and Jasper each on their own to bed Wilmer finally was able to lock up the house, he decided to sit down on the couch for awhile and think about had happened the last week. He kept telling Demi he could help her but he questioned shelf if he really could, he didn't know what to do? Even though he'd try his best, after seeing her unconscious in the bathroom it brought him to how serious Demi was about it. He thought about if she had suicidal thoughts and hoped to god she doesn't as it wouldn't be good for Jasper and I'd hate it if she wanted to leave me and Jasper.
"Wil, What's wrong?" Wilmer heard Demi's footsteps quietly tapping against the floor and instantly smiled as her sleepy face with her glasses on and no make up came in the room. She came closer to him and he gently pulled her in his lap, wanting to feel her touch but Demi was confused.
"I just- You know I care for you, very much and I get scared knowing you could harm yourself because your lying to yourself. I wouldn't lie to you Demi, you have curves, embrace them because you look so sexy with them but I know you hate them and you shouldn't!" Demi seen admiration but fear in his eyes, she wanted to make him proud of her but didn't know how. She didn't think she was pretty at all but each day whenever Wilmer gave her compliments she'd become less self conscious and confident.
"Wilmer, I know you hate what I think of myself but I'm trying so hard to make you proud and I don't know if I can! I only become more confident within my body when you give me compliments and I love that because I always believe the words you say, I will only ever believe you. I love you Wilmer." Demi muttered, this was the second time she'd said that bad it still made him smile.
"I know your trying babe, I know you are. It'll take some time... I love you." Wilmer kissed Demi's head and he felt her smile against his shoulder. They hadn't been intimidate much at all but from Wilmer's kisses along her neck she started to think he wanted it tonight and she was exhausted. Demi pushed his head away and her hand went towards her neck, covering it so he couldn't kiss it.
"Wil, I'm- I don't feel comfortable with it tonight, last time we did it I had bad thoughts about us. That you hated my body and look what happened because of it, I don't want my day to go from good to bad. Also, I'm exhausted. Let's just wait awhile." Demi said softly, Wilmer sighed at how he couldn't make anything better towards it.
"If I could give you one thing in life, it would be the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realise how perfect you are to me, how sexy your curvaceous body is and how much you mean to me. In my eyes, your perfect. I'm never going to judge you or make you feel bad." Wilmer whispered, noticing she'd fallen asleep after she never replied to him, making him chuckle.
*********
The two were awoken to a key unlocking and instantly heard pounding footsteps, Demi and Wilmer ignored it and just wanted to sleep but that came impossible when somebody turned the lights on and ripped the blanket they were covered in away from them. Demi whined, immediately sitting up to shout at the person who did it but came face to face with her mom, Madison, Ashton and Mila."Why're you here?" She muttered rudely but her family ignored her words as they knew how grumpy she could be in the mornings. Madison was first to speak up, the had worked faces on and it was directed to Demi as nobody cared to look over at a sleeping Wilmer beside her.
"Alright, Dem. I don't know if you wanna here this- it might not help your situation but Mila told me you guys was at the hospital yesterday right? Have you guys checked Twitter?" Madison threw questions at them, Wilmer was now awake at what possibly could be wrong.
"Mads, I've got to go to the doctors. I need to get going so I'll catch up with you la-" Demi stood up, she wanted to find out what was wrong with her and Wilmer was now up too but pulled her back to see what they had to say. Mila or Ashton didn't say anything as they knew Demi might get worse due to it.
"Somebody recorded it, they know everything over the past years. It's gone viral, and the worlds judging you over it. We wanted to tell you before you found out for yourself, just don't listen to the hate! Wilmer..." Madison pleaded for the first time looking at the man as he nodded, Demi was frozen in place. That was her worse fear, everybody finding out what's happening in her life now and that terrified her. Madison wanted Wilmer to help Demi as much as he could as she knew her or her mom couldn't help it anymore, they tried helping her years ago but it never worked.
"Wilmer! T-they know." Demi turned to Wilmer, not running to her mom but only Wilmer. He gripped her close as she gripped onto him as if her life depended on it and Wilmer would of smiled at how she turned to him first but Demi's quite sobs stopped him. His heart broke hearing her hurt so much from this, Jasper came running down the stairs with a smile on his face but stopped seeing everybody and his mom crying.
"What's wrong momma?" Demi didn't reply, she continued to sob against Wilmer harder as she thought about all the possible hate people could be saying. She was now being judged by the world but bad thoughts came to a halt when after Jasper was taken out of the room by Mila,
"Don't think about it, they're saying nice things! Nice things Demi, people are telling you to get well and some are hoping I help you." Wilmer tried to comfort which worked as good thoughts came to mind but truth was that Wilmer lied about that, he didn't know what they were saying as he'd only just found out too but at least it worked for Demi.
"Baby everything's fine! Now, we're going to go the doctors and find out what the matter. Mila can watch Jasper for awhile, and I'm going to take your phone away alright. My phone can go too, it'll just be me, you and our son without any social media sites. It'll work, trust me because even though every one is saying nice things I don't want you to get upset." Demi smiled at the thought of it, just get, her son and her boyfriend. She loved how soothing Wilmer could be to her as he held get in his arms, she felt protected, loved, safe.
"Good thoughts baby. Everybody is sending love, trust me." Wilmer promised, he was true though be issue millions of support came in but there's always that few people still picking away at Demi which Wilmer didn't want for her. Demi nodded her head, pushing the bad thoughts to the back of her brain but for how long? How long will I be able to think of good thought because once in awhile bad thoughts come up to without me stopping it. Demi thought to herself before lifting herself on her tiptoes to kiss Wilmer's lips softly, before putting on a smile. It was a nervous one because she was going to find out if she had depression.
"That's my girl."
