Classes and The Girlfriend

                                    

                                          
As soon as we step out of the classroom, Ross asks me "How did you do that?"
                          
 "Do what?"
                          
 "First of all, you got him to like you. Second, you got us late passes, AND you got him to not mark me late."
                          
 "I just told him what happened."
                          
 "I know, thanks," he says with a smile. "I don't need another late on my record. My parents would kill me, and probably take away all my guitars."
                          
 "No problem. What are friends for?" I say, laughing.
                          
 "Exactly. We better get going. Just because we have passes, doesn’t mean Mr. Thorne will be happy about us being late." I nod, and follow Ross. As him and I enter Mr. Thorne's class, I take a seat in front of Ross. This happens for two more classes. After fourth hour, Ross walks me to lunch, and we go up to buy lunch together. Out of nowhere, appears a girl with long, wavy brown/black hair, and brown eyes. She wraps her arm around Ross' shoulder, and kisses him on the cheek.
                          
"Hey babe," she says.
                          
"Hey Brittany. Abby, this is my girlfriend Brittany. Britt, this is Abby."
                          
"Hi. Nice to meet you," I say to her. She just smiles at me. When we start to get our food, Ross begins to forget about Brittany, and tells me what food is actually edible. Brittany is in line in front of Ross and I. She pays for her lunch, and then saunters over to what I'm guessing is the popular table. When the lady puts her hand out so Ross can give her the money for his lunch, he hands her a five dollar bill, which is enough to pay for two lunches.
                          
When the lady goes to make change, he says, "It's for her lunch too." She nods, and then Ross and I head out of line.
                          
 When we walk out of the line, I say to Ross, "Why did you do that?"
                          
"To make up for making you fall on the floor this morning," he explains with a smile. I start laughing remembering the incident. Apparently Ross is remembering too, since he starts cracking up as well.
