When Saruhiko and Misaki left the bathroom, they decide to clean up themselves also.

After a quick, hot, shower, Misaki put on a long sleeved, black undershirt (it was getting cold out), with a dark gray t-shirt over it that said, "...Knowledge talks, wisdom listens..."

Yes it was a Jimi Hendrix shirt. Believe or not, Misaki likes all variations of rock, including Jimi Hendrix. Saruhiko on the other hand rarely listened to music, he was too occupied with Scepter 4 and the amount of paperwork they gave him. But when he did listen to music, it was usually some old and obscure techno video game music like the true nerd he is.

But to get off the topic of music taste, Saruhiko was dressing himself in a short sleeved, light gray shirt with semi-skinny black jeans. As Saruhiko finished up, he saw Misaki pulling up his black cargo shorts out of the corner of his eye. Saruhiko smirked smugly, alas, for he is a pervert. That smirk soon faded for Misaki caught him staring.

"Saru! What do you think you're looking at!?"

"Tch," Saru snapped his head in the opposite direction,
"Nothing much."

Huffing with slight anger and embarrassment, Misaki made his way out of their bedroom, slightly stomping, while Saruhiko still stood there, pursing his lips and crossing his arms. He did this for a good straight minute before he groaned and went to find Hana.

Saruhiko found Hana in the living room on their faux fur and fluffy white rug, playing with her Disney princess toys (she was a bit of a fanatic for Disney princesses).

Saruhiko crouched down beside Hana to not necessarily join, but to instead observe.

"PapaSaru!" Hana said excitedly.

Saruhiko grunted in acknowledgment.
Hana handed him the Snow White figurine.

"Play Princesses with me!"

He must admit. Saruhiko was extremely reluctant to play "Princesses" but he couldn't just say no to Hana (Misaki would get mad either way). So, he took the Snow White figure and agreed.

While Misaki was on his way to the kitchen to see if they needed any groceries, he spotted Saru playing with their Hana. It made his heart throb with happiness at the sight.

Saruhiko is such a good father, thought Misaki, but he would never admit such a thing out loud, for he had too much pride.

Anywho, Misaki made his way to the kitchen to check the contents of the pantry and fridge. The pantry was fairly empty, with no Fruit Loops and Cheerios left, no "snacks" (Granola bars, Special K, etc. Misaki is a health nut), and no soup cans and bread loafs.
When Misaki checked the fridge there was a shortage of milk, a loss of vegetables, and a lack of eggs. Misaki realized that he needed to go grocery shopping. This also reminded him to buy a lunch box, school supplies, and a backpack for Hana, who starts preschool the following week.

Misaki cringed at the thought of strangers being around Hana, but alas, she does need an education.

Feeling guilty for interrupting Saru and Hana's play time as he stated the issue of the lack of food,

"Saru, we need to go grocery shopping."

Saruhiko looked up from Hana and her toys to gaze at Misaki.

"Alright that's fine. Do you want me and Hana to come along?"

Misaki thought for a moment, thinking about what to say. In then end, Misaki said,

"Yes."

His reasoning for this was since Hana was about to go to preschool, Misaki wanted to spend most of what little time he had left with her.
Saruhiko smiled genuinely, knowing what Misaki was thinking and why he said yes.

"Ok," he said, getting to his feet,
"Let the journey begin."
