What Not To Wear

It was a normal boring day in high school for Jonathan. Even though he had a annoying little demon by his side. Though, he didn't see Sock until lunchtime. He went through the line, only getting a sandwich and a bottle of water. When he was walking to his seat, alone, he saw him waiting there.

When he sat down there was yet another silence. Why is there always silences! The tension! Well anyways, Sock reached over to grab his sandwich, to which he got a slap to the hand.

"Dude that's my only food!"

"So! I'm hungry too..." Sock was sticking his bottom lip out and bugged his eyes, he looked like a lost puppy. Jonathan sighed,

"Fine, but only a little piece," Sock's face lit up almost instantly. He reached his hand over and, before Jonathan could process anything, took a huge bit. This earned weird looks from the students walking by. I mean, wouldn't you think it was weird to see a floating sandwich?

"Um, you could've just tore a piece..." He was blushing, just the thought of Sock's saliva and his mixing made him tingly. (I'm so sorry! XD) Sock then set the sandwich back down on the tray.

"It tastes ok, I just don't see how you love them so much. Sometimes I think you love sandwiches more than you love me," And he went back to pouting. No one can resist that face!

"I-it's just...they taste so good," Socks face went from a pout to a smug look.

"I bet I taste better~" he purred. Jonathan's face grew bright red.

"S-sock, stop that. I'm getting weird looks," He stared down at his tray until his blush faded. After it was fully gone, he shakily grabbed sandwich and took a small bite, like a mouse. Sock got up from the table, going to one of the other tables, because he was simply bored. It was full of all the popular kids. He started off by grabbing their food and throwing it across the lunch room, you know, "minor things". They started to get freaked out but shrugged it off as a prank. Although none of them believed that.

Sock soon grew bored and went back to Jonathan's table, still empty. He thought about what would really push his buttons. But, those thoughts faded as he saw all the people walking about. He scrunched his face up in disgust.

"Oh my god, did you see what she was wearing, like, she look like a potato," This made Jonathan crack up, which was rare. Sock looked over towards him, seemingly proud of his statement. While he was still laughing, Sock said,

"You know I'm right!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right, but have you seen that person's outfit? It's, like, so yesterday," Now they were both laughing. Just a couple of teenagers bashing on other people's style for their own pleasure, you know, the usual.

After many more hilarious insults, they couldn't breathe. They were laughing so hard.

"We should totally run that one tv show,"

"No way we'd ever be that rich,"

"I know..." And that was where their conversation ended. Since the lunch period was almost over, everyone was chatting, which only made things louder. This was great for Jonathan, however, so he could talk in a normal voice with Sock. They talked about random stuff, like how he liked school, why Nutella tastes so good, and how cute kittens are. That is until Jonathan made a remark.

"You know, you're like a kitten," Now it was Socks turn to blush.

"Really, how so?"

"Well...you have an adorable button nose like one, when you sneeze you sound like one, and your hair is fluffy like one, and yea...you're definitely similar to one," by now Sock was looking down at his lap, face on fire.

"W-wow, thanks," And then the bell rang breaking the layer of silence like a knife through butter. And everyone headed out the lunch room, including Jonathan with Sock in toe. Just a couple more hours and they'd be able to do whatever they want.
