Henry's POV:
This is our final battle we have to fight, at least we hope. Jason said he would be back, but no one knows when. "I hope Jason doesn't come back." Kala said, an angry look on her face. Since Jason had almost killed her and Jax, she hated him. No doubt about that.
"So, we know that the Beast is going to open the portal and havoc will be caused, and there will be more evil than ever. We have to come up with a plan that's fool proof. What we need to do is-" I was cut off by Terra staring at something behind me. I slowly turned around and....
There, staring right back at me, were about 15 more people. "Uh, c-can we help you?" John asked nervously. One of the group, a girl, stepped closer to us. "Hello. I'm crystal. These are the people I brought. We are here to help you fight the Beast."
Our mouths hung open for a while. "How do you know about the Beast and what he's doing?" Asked Emerald. Crystal replied simply. "We heard about it on the news. Anyway, do you want us to help or not?" We all nodded our heads.
All 21 of us crowded around some dirt. Some flew above to see. "Okay, so what we're gonna do is-" I was cut off once again by another person. I looked up and saw a boy. "Shouldn't we decide who is going to make the plans? I mean, there are 21 of us." I thought about what he said for a minute, then said, "who votes Kala to make the plan?"
Kala looked at me and then looked at the rest. Most people didn't care, so they raised their hands. Crystal didn't do anything for a bit, then shrugged and raised her hand. Our group raised their hands and about 2 peoples hands were down. "Ok, Kala, make a plan."
"Oh, uh, we could sneak up on him and-"
"We don't even know where we are going to be." A voice called out. "Alright alright! Here's the plan. I got it now."
"So we don't know where we are going to be, the people who can fly will go out first and distract the Beast, possibly the other people. The people who can't fly will find places to hide before the battle starts. When the Beast and the other people are distracted, the people who can't fly will jump out and attack. One of the people who can fly will give out a call. Which one of you wants to do that?" Kala finished while looking up at the flying ones.
One guy raised his hand. "I'll just scream, uh...... Now?" He shrugged and Kala nodded. "Alright, any questions?" Kala asked. Some people raised their hands. "Ok, you." She pointed to a girl with brunette hair. "What if the battle gets really bad really fast?" All the people who had questions put their hands down.
Kala thought for a moment before talking. "I'll decide what to do when it if that moment comes. Any other questions?" Everyone shook their heads. "Okay, great! Let's get to know each other."
We all started meeting new people and talked for a while. I met 2 boys, one with blonde hair and one with black hair. The one with blonde hair had the sleepy powder stuff, and the one with black hair could erase memory. It was pretty cool. I also met a cute girl with ginger hair and hazel eyes. I was kind of nervous to talk to her, but she was nice. Her name was Melody. She could fly and she could shoot lightning. After about 30 minutes, Kala said we should rest before we go fight.
"And then, the best thing happened to me that day. I got a bunch of treats from the Master for doing such a great job. I even got a pet dragon!" One girl was saying as we all sat around the campfire. We all took turns telling stories. Next, it was Kala's turn, but she told no stories.
"Well, if this is helpful in battle tomorrow, I thought I'd show you all this. You guys already know." Kala pointed to Jax, Terra, Emerald, John and I.
She closed her eyes for a little bit, and when she opened them again, a huge, red, fire breathing dragon appeared behind her. Some of the people looked scared, but others looked excited. Then, everyone clapped as the dragon disappeared and Kaka sat back down. "That would be great to use in battle! What's it's name?" Crystal asked. Kala thought for a minute. "Well, it's a boy.... So I'll name it Red?" The others nodded in agreement. It was Jax's turn to tell a story now. He leaned closer to Kala and whispered something in her ear, then she nodded.
Jax stood up and started. "Well, we have an enemy. It's one person. He's been our enemy ever since he became evil. He was our best friend. But the Beast took his mind over. The Beast uses him. Anyway, we were flying to.... I forgot where, but something flew past us and we fell to the ground. I woke up, but it was still dark. I made sure Kala was there, and someone took off my blindfold. It was the enemy. He had a plan to grab Kala, light a bomb, throw a knife at me, and fly out of the old house. It didn't work, but I almost died. The knife hit my stomach so....."
Everyone was staring at him. "Who is your enemy?" Someone asked.
"Jason." Jax said simply, and sat down. "Ok, does everyone know each other's names?" I asked. Some people shook their heads. "Ok, let's go around saying our names. I'll start. Henry." The chain I had started kept going. "Melody, Kylie, Taylor, Riley, Tyler, Joseph, Ryan, Devin, Kaden, Dani, Tanner, Robin, Jeremy, Chris, Crystal."
"Ok, after a little bit more of staying up, we should go to bed." Emerald suggested. After a little bit of talking, we all went to bed.
Jax's POV:
I was the first one to wake up, so I woke everyone up. We stretched and the people who could fly got ready too. They would carry us to our destination. "John can you check where the Beast is?" I asked him. He nodded and grabbed the tracker. John turned it on and looked for a bit before he had a confused expression on his face.
"Well, where is he?" I asked him. John hesitated for a moment, then said, "h-he's in the Dragon Village." I got confused too. "But, that's impossible!" "I'm telling you, he's in the Dragon Village!" John exclaimed, fear in his eyes. "But, the Master is in there! We have to go now!" I yelled. I opened the portal and we all jumped in. While we were teleporting, I yelled to everyone, "remember the plan!" Then, we were in the village.
