Bo's POV:

"You guys she's dead." I told my teammates. "Relax Bo. The boyfriend won't name any of us. But if you snitch, I'll tell him to name you." Jason said.  "That's all you have to say!" I yelled. "Emily is dead because y'all drugged her drink and tried to have sex with her!" The captain, Andrew, stepped forward at my outburst. "Say something like that again and I'll have you off the team faster than you can run up and down the field!" He growled. You could hear the faint sound of sirens in the distance. Someone had called 911, but she was already dead. Didn't they know that? "Aye man we gotta get outta here!" Jackson said. Are they serious? "We all can't leave at once. It would look bad as fuck." Andrew said. I sat there in a stunned silence. They just killed a girl and they were trying to leave the scene. "Why should we leave anyways?" I asked. Everyone looked at me with curious eyes and waited for my explanation. "Everyone knows we're here, They've all seen us. If any of us leaves it'll look like we did something." I told them. Andrew looked like he was actually considering what I just said. "He's right." Andrew said. "We'll stay and answer questions. I can have the nerds say we were all outside at the time Emily fell. We came in as we heard the screaming."
This is why he was our captain. He was leading us in times of struggle. I don't know why I was trying to convince myself that what we had just done was okay. We killed an innocent girl and now we were going to lie about where we were. Without thinking about what I was doing, I hopped the fence in her backyard. I couldn't be there to see them lie about where they were. I didn't give a fuck about team honor anymore. I stopped in her neighbor's yard to throw up what I ate that night.
"Weren't you at the party?" A girl asked me. "Something like that." I told her. "You were. I saw you on the staircase behind me as Emily fell!" She said as if she'd discovered the meaning of life.
Pulling up my hood I said "I don't know what you're talking about." The girl looked at me with pity. "Don't fucking look at me like that, you don't know me!" I snapped. "I may not know you but I know you're a liar." She said as she stared into my eyes. The whites of her eyes were a bright red, she had been smoking. I could work with that. "Are you sure? I can smell the weed on you from here. Before you go around accusing innocent people of being at a party, make sure you're not high first." I said coldly. "Fuck you." She scoffed as she walked away. The bitch better walk off. Who did she think she was? "Fucking pot heads." I mumbled as I began walking home.
