This chapter kind of cuts off randomly, since I'm putting the second half of this chapter as a new chapter, btw :)
When we get back to the bus after watching All Time Low, the other guys are gone, luckily. Sometimes, it gets annoying not having any privacy. I start to make my way over to my bunk, to find something nice to wear, but Jaime stops me. I raise my eyebrows at him.
"What? I have to get ready," I whine, and he just chuckles. He should know how long it takes for a woman to get ready. God, guys are oblivious.
"I'm picking out your clothes tonight," he says, trying to look sexy and wink. He ends up getting an eyelash in his eyes or something though, because he starts rubbing it. I can't help but laugh at his awkwardness. One of the reasons I love him so much. He's such a goof.
He goes to the room with the bunks, while I plop down on the couch and surf through tv channels. I'm bored. There isn't really anything good on, so I open up Facebook. I scroll down, looking at a few pictures fans tagged Jaime in, which makes me realize that it's logged in on his account. I immediately know what to do.
I end up posting something, since I can't ignore the opportunity. Yeah, I'm evil like that.
It takes me a while to think of what to say. Eventually, I come up with something. The post says, "Hey, J! Love you so much! Haha :P you forgot to log out, you idiot! <3
To all the fans, you guys are amazing. I am able to see firsthand how much you change these bands. They all appreciate your support so much! Jaime and I try to read every single thing you guys say. Thanks! -Jaime's girlfriend. Not a fake. Be jealous :P
As soon as I posted the status, the likes began popping up. People started commenting right away. I gasped in awe. Gosh, these people have dedication.
Jaime suddenly appears in front of me, smiling cheekily. I smile innocently, and he grabs my phone quickly, obviously reading the status.
His smile gets bigger and bigger with each second. When he's done, he sets the phone down and kneels in front of me, kissing my nose. My cheeks turn red, and I move my head instead so that our lips touch. He chuckles, pulling me up and ending the kiss. I frown as he leads me into the bunks.
He has clothes for both of us set out, and they match. He has a black Key Street tank top, blue jean cutoffs, and black vans. Torturing me with his amazing body with that tank top, as expected. For me, he picked out a casual strapless black dress that falls to my knees, and cute sandals with black straps. I guess we'll be dressing to impress each other, then.
I frown a little, not really liking the idea of showing more than I usually do. I normally wear jeans and tees. This is a lot different. I didn't even know I had that dress. I wonder where it even came from. That's so weird.
"Come on. You'll look beautiful, as usual," he says, with a charming smile. Then, he starts to pout. It's so adorable, I can't really argue. It's totally not fair. With a groan, I grab the dress and walk into the bathroom with all of my necessities to get ready for tonight.
I put a slight brush of black eyeshadow on, along with some eyeliner, then lip gloss. Once I'm completely ready, I step out, to find an already dressed Jaime. He sticks his tongue at me, for taking so long probably, and I stick mine out at him. He smiles and rolls his eyes, handing me my sandals. I quickly put them on, then slip my phone into Jaime's pocket, since I don't have any.
"Ready?" He asks, and I nod. Although I feel a bit insecure, Jaime's got me convinced that I at least look decent.
We exit the bus and start walking hand in hand towards his car, to get something for the potluck. The people aren't completely gone yet, anyways, and I guess everyone's meeting by the main stage, since ATL was the last band to preform today. Hopefully everyone will be gone by the time we get back. It would be hard to hang out with some fans still hanging around.
"What should we get?" Jaime asks me once we get in the car.
I shrug, staring out the window as I think. "Probably some kind of small thing, like a side or dessert," I reply. He seems satisfied with that answer, not adding anything else.
It stays silent for a while, until I decide to turn on some music. I plug my phone into the right thing in the car, since I usually don't like the music on most radio stations. It's hard to find post-hardcore music on the radio, since its not the most popular kind of music.
I pick a random playlist that I made a while back, and immediately, Have Faith In Me by A Day To Remember starts playing. A smile slowly creeps on to my face, satisfied with the music selection.
I quietly sing along as we drive, giving Jaime an embarrassed smile when he looks over but not stopping. He chuckles at me then looks back towards the road before I can yell at him.
Soon, we pull into the Wal-Mart parking lot. It's pretty full, so it takes a minute or two to find a spot as close as possible to the entrance. We're that lazy.
Finally, we find one, pulling in between two trucks. We quickly get out and walk into the giant store.
"So, side or dessert?" He asks me once we're inside, throwing me a quick glance. I shrug, still not sure about my decision.
"Dessert," I finally decide, and Jaime gives me a thumbs up.
"Okay. Now, what kind?" He asks as we find the dessert area.
"Ummm..." I say, thinking to my self. I don't want to pick something with nuts, in case anyone's allergic and can't eat it. That's pretty much my only criteria.
"What about cookies? That's easy," Jaime suggests, and I just nod. Why not?
We pick out a box of assorted cookies, with peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar, candy, and more kinds of cookies in it.
"Think that'll be enough?" I wonder aloud, and he shrugs, and ends up grabbing another box just to be safe.
"That should work," he says, before we make our way towards the shortest check out line. We quickly find one and get in line. It moves pretty fast, so we're out of the store within minutes.
On the way back, I put the music on again, this time a Pierce The Veil playlist which has a mixture of songs from each album.
The first song to come on is King For A Day. Jaime laughs, and I raise my eyebrows out at him.
"When we filmed the music video for this song, Vic was a bit scared of us, since we had water guns. They looked like real guns, it was so cool! Vic kept asking staff why they couldn't just give us fake guns, that couldn't shoot anything.
We just couldn't resist it. We had to squirt him and Kellin as soon as filming was over. They were completely soaked! He was mad at us for weeks, since we accidentally ruined his phone," Jaime explains, slightly ashamed at what happened at the end of his story. I just laugh. That definitely seems like something they would do. They're so immature sometimes.
When we get back, all of the fans are gone, luckily. We get out and Jaime carries the bag as we walk towards the main stage.
When we get there, we're a bit early, since only a few bands are there.
I scan the area, noticing the rest of Pierce The Veil talking to All Time Low. I smile, remembering their performance earlier.
Oli and Jordan from Bring Me The Horizon are putting their food items on a long table. The rest of their band is scattered around the grassy area.
I can see Alan and Aaron, along with CC from BVB, admiring something on Alan's smartphone. Phil, and Tino are nowhere to be found. Austin's still gone, with his friend.
All of Black Veil Brides, except for CC of course, are watching someone play a guitar. When they move, I notice that it's Jesse, from Sleeping With Sirens.
Jaime lightly tugs on my wrist, like a little kid, and we go to put the cookies on the table. We set them next to other desserts, like a pie, ice cream, and cupcakes. Luckily, there aren't any cookies like ours there yet.
