The flight to Jade Mountain was long and tiring, only stopping to eat and sleep at night, but the thought of seeing his sister's again kept Hurricane going. I just hope we get there soon, he thought.
On the third day of the flight, Hurricane finally saw the peak of Jade Mountain, pointing into the sky like a rocky beacon. Not many dragons were outside because the school year had already been going for four weeks.
As Hurricane flew closer and closer to Jade Mountain, he could make out the shapes of three SeaWings in the entrance. "Ripple, Splash!" Hurricane called. "Over here!" He redoubled his speed until he was quite literally being choked by his sisters' embraces.
"YES YES YES YES!!!!!!" exclaimed Splash. "I knew our big brother would come!"
Ripple was overjoyed too. "Things are going to be SO much better with you around!" said Ripple.
Suddenly all Hurricane could see was a translucent light-blue membrane.
"I KNEW you would come!" said Tsunami, wrapping Hurricane in a bear-hug.
"I'm happy t-to see y-you too," coughed Hurricane. "But I would REALLY like to b-breathe now!"
Tsunami let go of Hurricane. "Follow me," said Tsunami. "I will PERSONALLY escort you to your cave!"
The Titanium Winglet cave was awesome. It was warm, cozy, and overall, there were no spiders. Hurricane had arachnophobia, which is the fear of arachnids. Inside the cave were seven sleeping places, a pool (most likely for himself), a smoothed out place in the rock, a hammock, and others.
"I'm going to like this place," said Hurricane as he examined the scroll shelf for anything that caught his attention.
"I'm glad you like it," said Tsunami. "Just stay here and make yourself at home. I'm going to go do some more important things." She then exited the cave.
About twenty minutes later, while Hurricane was reading a scroll about the Scorching, a orangish-red SkyWing entered the cave. Her yellow eyes were slanted and her silver claws glimmered in the torch light.
"Hello!" said Hurricane. "My name is Hurricane, son of Riptide and Tsunami! What is yours?"
"Oh," said the SkyWing, startled. "I didn't see you there! Anyway, my name is Fireclaw."
"Fireclaw. Cool name!" complimented Hurricane.
"Thanks," said Fireclaw, clearly blushing. "What are you reading?"
"Nothing much. Just an old scroll about the Scorching." replied Hurricane. "It is actually rather interesting. Oh, just to give you a heads up, I'm an animus."
Relief shone in Fireclaw's eyes. "Good. I thought I would be the only one! I'm an animus too!" said Fireclaw.
"Cool!" said Hurricane.
Awesome thought Hurricane I'm REALLY going to like JMA now!
