Chapter 6

                                    

                                          
Kristy and Travis drove to Florida from Georgia. Flights were a little pricy for Kristy so she drove as Travis slept in the back. She brought movies to entertain him through the 8 hour drive to Florida. Haley had just gotten back from her morning walk when she saw Kristy and what looked to be a miniature Scotty. "Hey Haley," Kristy smiled. "That's Hawee?" Travis said. "Yes it is," Kristy laughed as Travis ran up to Haley and gave her a hug. "Aww thank you Travis did you have fun driving to Florida," Haley smiled. "Yeah! I got to watch Twoy Stwory!" he grinned. "Toy Story is his favorite movie," Kristy laughed. "Aww that sounds like a lot of fun," Haley smiled. "Haley...could you watch him while I unload the bags and check us in?" Kristy asked. "Of course I can...come on buddy," Haley smiled taking Travis' hand and walking with him into the hotel.
                          
	"Gee Reinhart I didn't know you wanted a kid that badly that you stole one," Casey joked as he walked over to them, seeing them. "I didn't...this is Travis...he's...Lauren's baby," Haley said in almost a whisper. "Lauren had a baby?" Casey whispered shocked. Haley nodded and whispered "I'll explain more later," "Hey buddy," Casey smiled. "Hi you have a cool bweard!" Travis giggled. "Why thank you," Casey laughed "I like this kid already." "Wanna be my frwend," he smiled. "Sure! Is Haley your friend?" Casey asked. Travis nodded "You should know she has cooties," Casey teased. "CASEY," Haley laughed. "Nu-uh none of Mama's friends have cooties...she told me that was a lie," Travis giggled. "Good move Lauren," Casey laughed. 
                          
	"Now say you're sorry for lying," Haley laughed. "Never," Casey smirked. "Travis when people lie...we tickle them," Haley smirked tickling Casey. "Hey not fair Reinhart," Casey said in between fits of laughter. "Come on and join in," Haley laughed as Travis tickled Casey too. "Now say your sorry and we'll stop right Travis?" Haley smirked. "YEAH!" Travis giggled. "Okay okay I'm sorry for lying," Casey said. "Good enough," Haley laughed. "Can we go see Mama now?" Travis pouted. "Yeah sure buddy...your Mama is my roommate," Haley smiled taking Travis' hand. "See you later Reinhart...it was nice meeting you Travis," Casey smiled. Travis waved goodbye as he headed off with Haley.
                          
	Haley knocked at the door. "Is she coming," Travis giggled. "I don't know..." Haley laughed "Laur...are you there?" "Yeah hold on a sec," Lauren said as she grabbed her robe and put it on. "MOMMA!" Travis ran over and hugged her. "Oh my gosh what are you doing here baby," Lauren smiled a bit...tearing up a little. "Grandma Kwisty drove us here! She said you missed me," Travis smiled. "I really did miss you...." Lauren smiled holding him close. "Yeah....Kristy just asked me to watch him while she checked in....he wanted to see you," Haley smiled. "I get it," Lauren smiled looking the happiest Haley had seen her in a long time.
                          
	"Hales...can you watch him while I get changed?" Lauren asked. "Sure thing. Whataya wanna watch buddy?" Haley asked shutting on the TV. "Can we watch Disney Channel? Buzz Lightyear is on!" Travis grinned. "Sure thing," Haley smiled as she put Disney Channel on for him. Okay this seemed good for Lauren. Haley knew her insincts had to be right about this. Lauren needed to tell the truth and Scotty needed to meet his kid. It was a win-win for everyone right?
                          
	Lauren walked out in her sundress. "Thanks Haley," Lauren smiled a bit. "No problem. Okay buddy I gotta go..." Haley said. "Awready? But Hawee you just got hwere," Travis frowned. "I know but I gotta get back to Casey. You and your mama probably have a lot of catching up to do...I'll see you later okay?" Haley smiled. "Okway," Travis said hugging Haley goodbye. "Aww he likes you already Hales..." Lauren giggled. "Well we are friends Lauren...gosh," Haley joked as she left. 
                          
	"Oh there you are Reinhart...I was just about to see where you went off to," Casey laughed. "Yeah...sorry about that..." Haley laughed. "It's okay. So Lauren had a kid that looks a lot like Scotty...." Casey said. "Yeah....that's because the kid is Scotty's," Haley said quietly. "Does Scotty know?" Casey asked. "No...but Lauren says she's thinking of telling him....I told her it's best if he knows," Haley said. "I agree with you completely...why do I think you have something to do with them arriving here?" Casey laughed. "Because I do," Haley laughed. "I know you too well...Haley you probably should not have done that...it's Lauren call if she wants everyone to know about her kid," Casey said. "I know you're right but....you know how Lauren can be...she's very stubborn when she makes up her mind on something," Haley said. "Just like someone else I know," Casey teased. "Oh shut up," Haley laughed as they made their way to Casey and Paul's room.
                          
	"Haley...where's Travis?" Kristy asked seeing them. "He's with Lauren I brought him to our room because he wanted to see his mother and Lauren's watching him," Haley said. "Okay thanks," Kristy smiled as she headed off to Haley and Lauren's room. "Now what did we come here for," Haley smirked. "I think you know Reinhart...I always said I liked growling with you," Casey smirked back as they well.....
                          
	Back at Lauren and Haley's room, Lauren was trying to figure out why her mother came here with Travis. She loved seeing him but she couldn't help but feel there was more to the story than just Lauren saying to her mom that she missed Travis and how did Travis know Haley? Haley. She must have been behind it. 'Ugh Haley...I know you're trying to help me make the right choice but that right choice is really hard,' Lauren thought to herself as her mother arrived. "GRANDMA!" Travis grinned as he ran over to Kristy. "Hey Travis...I got us checked into our room...we can now go out for the day if you want," Kristy smiled. "Yeah! Let's go to Disney I wanna meet the weal Woody!" Travis said "Mama you should come too!" "Yeah Lauren you should," Kristy smiled. "I think I will," Lauren smiled. She loved spending time together with her family. "YAY!" Travis grinned as they made their way down to the lobby and ran into none other than Scotty McCreery.
                          
	"Hey Lauren...Kristy I didn't know you were here and who's this little guy," Scotty smiled. "I'm Travis!" Travis grinned. "Well it's nice to meet you Travis," Scotty said. "Your voice is weally deep," Travis giggled. "Thanks..." Scotty laughed. "We're going to Disneyworld to meet the weal Woody...you wanna come," Travis grinned. "Oh Travis, honey I think Scotty might be..." Lauren began. "Sure I'll come...Woody's your favorite Disney character huh? Isn't that something he's my favorite too," Scotty smiled. "I like you," Travis smiled holding Lauren and Scotty's hands. "I like you too," Scotty laughed a bit. Travis was adorable...he reminded Scotty of Lauren personality wise with how fearless he was. It was something though because the kid looked almost like a cross between him and Lauren.
                          
	They got to Disneyworld's Hollywood Studios where the Toy Story set was. "I don't beweave it," Travis grinned as they waited in line to meet the Toy Story characters. "Aww it's so nice that his dream is finally coming true to meet Woody," Lauren smiled a bit. "Yeah it's something huh?" Scotty smiled. "Thanks for coming with us....you didn't have to," Lauren said quietly. "Of course Lauren...I wanted to come...Travis is a sweet kid...is he yours?" Scotty said quietly. Lauren hesistated a bit "Yes...but my mom's been raising him," she finally said. "Oh I see...I know your music schedule probably keeps you very busy," Scotty whispered. "Yeah...I try to see him as often as I can...I'm lucky that Rossville isn't that far away," Lauren whispered back. "Who's his father?" Scotty whispered. Lauren felt weak in her stomach. She knew the answer but she didn't know exactly how to tell him.
                          
	"We're next!" Travis grinned "Come on Scotty come with me." Scotty chuckled a bit "Okay buddy I'm coming," Lauren couldn't get over how good Scotty was with Travis already and he didn't even know Travis was his. 'You have to tell him Lauren....it's only the right thing to do....look how happy they look together. You can't take that away from them,' Lauren thought to herself as Scotty returned with Travis. "That was the best thing ever," Travis beamed. "Yeah Woody was so happy to see his Woody doll...Travis even got his autograph here," Scotty smiled. "Aww Travis that's great," Lauren smiled hugging him. "Yeah Grandma said we can go on the Toy Story ride now! Come on," Travis said dragging Scotty and Lauren with him. They just laughed.
                          
	They waited on line for awhile. Toy Story Mania was a very popular ride. Kristy was playing with Travis and entertaining him so he wasn't listening. Lauren knew this was probably her only chance to tell Scotty the truth. "Scotty...remember before when you asked who his father is...." Lauren began quietly. "Yeah...." Scotty whispered back. "He's yours..." Lauren whispered hoping she had made the right choice.
