The bus pulled into the parking lot of an old motel. The Glen Capri.
Everyone got off the bus in a somewhat orderly fashion. I had a weird feeling about this place. Like not an "ew this is trash" weird but like a "I don't think the supernatural should be here" weird.
"Listen up. The meet has been pushed till tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and least amount of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up. Choose wisely." Coach had keys in his hand that he was giving out to pairs of people, "and I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants. Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!"
Sarah and I went to our room. From what I saw while walking to our room, Danny and Ethan were paired up, Stiles and Scott, Boyd and Isaac, Allison and Lydia, and Greenberg and Jared. Right as I stepped into the room, an overwhelming feeling of sorrow washed over me. I grabbed the doorframe to keep myself steady.
"Sammy, you okay" I nodded my head, not wanting her to worry. I set my bag on the floor next to the bed. The place was pretty trashy but it was an old motel so I guess it was expected. I sat on the bed waiting for Sarah to get out of the bathroom. Sarah was taking forever. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. The pain had finally died down.
"Sammy! Wait up!" I ignored Derek as I continued through the bitter coldness. I just wanted to get home and go to sleep and forget about this whole night because love sucks and Derek sucks.
"Sammy! Can you just let me explain?" I stopped and turned around.
"Explain what? That you're more into Paige than me? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I got the hint"
"Sam-" his fingertips grazed my hand before I snatched them away
"Don't touch me"
"Sammy, you're freezing" he stepped closer to me.
"Don't." I said shaking my head.
"I'm sorry" I didn't know if he meant it or if he was just trying to get me back.
"I'm done Derek."
"Please-" he took my hand in his.
"Derek!" Paige's voice rang through the air.
"Go" I said as I took a step back.
"Bu-"
"Go" His eyes held a look of guilt but also of happiness. I watched him run back to her.
I stood there, hoping he'd come back even though I knew he wouldn't. The rain had stopped and the wind had slowed down. I walked aimlessly through the woods. I didn't want to go home anymore but I still walked in that direction. I could see the sun's orange-red glow just below the horizon. I hit the main road and followed it back to the houses. Once I reached my house, I stood outside, looking at it for a while. I noticed my father still wasn't home which meant no one would know that I left. I sighed before climbing up the gutter to my balcony. I opened the door and found myself in the hallway of a hospital.
I looked around for somebody, anybody. The lights flickered before completely shutting off. The emergency power kicked in, making the light glow green.
"Hello" I yelled through the dimmed hallway. All I got in return was an echo of my voice. I heard a woman's scream and ran to it. I rounded a corner and found myself in the livingroom of the Hale House. Peter hand his claws around Kate's throat. I could feel myself shifting. I saw everything in black and white, which meant my eyes were glowing their white glow. I charged after Peter only to come into contact with a brick wall. I turned around and found myself at the school. It was after hours, the lights were off. I heard footsteps coming from the other end of the hall. I walked towards them quietly. I saw the silhouette of a guy. It looked like Derek but I couldn't really tell. I dropped the keys that were in my hands which made the person look up. A bright blue color glowed in the darkness. I bent down quickly to pick up my keys. When I stood up again, the person was right in front of me.
