"Parker stop," I groaned as he splashed me again.

"Why? It's so fun annoying you," he said and flipped his wet black hair.

"Mom!" I yelled.

"Snitch," he said.

"Parker, stop messing with your sister," Mom called, he smirked and he jumped in splashing me.

"Parker!" I groaned and he flipped me off my float. I swam back up and pushed him. "I can't stand you sometimes."

"Parker Jace," Mom said and we looked at her. Mom had curves, she looked young for her age. "Didn't I tell you to leave her alone?"

"Yes ma'am," he said, we all knew better than to test mom.

"Now, you two out of the pool, lunch is ready," she said and we climbed out, I grabbed a towel and dried off. Parker snapped me with his and I hissed.

"That's for snitching," he whispered and I rolled my eyes. I saw Cason sitting at the table already eating pizza. Cason's 14 and he looks more like mom than dad.

"Casey!" Mom yelled.

"She's not here," Parker said.

"What?" Mom asked.

"She went with Channing," he said, mom sighed.

"She knows Jake doesn't like him," she said.

"Why do you think she does it?" I asked. "Come on, it's Casey."

"Watch it," she said and I sat down, I looked at Parker.

"Why'd you tell?" I asked.

"She took the shoe laces out of my Nike cleats," he said. "No way I'm lying for her." I shook my head and started eating, the front door opened and closed. Dad walked in and he kissed mom.

"Hey my queen," he said and she smiled.

"How was work?" She asked, dad was a detective and mom was a lawyer.

"I have to train a rookie," he said. "He doesn't know the difference between a pistol and a rifle."

"You'll teach him," she said.

"Hey dad, football tryouts are in two weeks," Parker said. "Coach said I have the chance of being quarterback."

"That's great," dad said. "What about you princess, it's your junior year, what're you gonna do?"

"I just thought I'd just focus on my work," I said.

"No sports?" He asked. "Basketball, softball, soccer, nothing?"

"I don't have time for sports if I wanna get into a good college," I said.

"Are you serious?" He asked. "I raised you playing so many sports and you quit?"

"Why are you complaining, I got good grades?" I asked.

"Nerd," Parker mumbled and I slapped his arm.

"I'm not a nerd," I said. "I just focus on my work."

"Nerd," he said.
