Chapter 21

                                    

                                          
[Robin's POV]
                          
The next morning, I set out early with Emma and Roland's favourite toy and take it to Mr Gold's shop.
"I need you to enchant this for me," I begin.
"And why would I do that?" He asks.
"I have to find my son." I tell him.
"And?"
"Listen, Gold- don't you remember all those years you spent without Baelfire? Your son? Don't make Robin go through that suffering." Emma says. He glares at her then sighs.
"All magic comes with a price." He says.
"And a price I'm willing to pay." I reply desperately. He thinks for a moment and eventually speaks.
"It's for your son, isn't it?"
"Yes," I reply.
"This is the only time I'll ever do this." He says, as he enchants it. "Now go, before I change my mind."
"Thank you," I tell him, and run out.
"Wow, that was awfully out of character for Gold," Emma thinks.
"Yeah, but at least we can get to Roland faster."
                          
[Emma's POV]
                          
When we're in the car, we begin to follow the glow of the toy, when suddenly we hear noise coming from the back. I look behind as Robin continues to drive.
"Henry!" I shout.
"What?" He asks innocently.
"I told you to stay home! It's too dangerous for you to come."
"Mom, please," He begs. Eventually I give in.
"Fine. You do what I say, though. Okay?"
"Alright." He says with a big smile.
Eventually we come to the edge of the town.
"Are you sure this is where we're supposed to be?" Robin asks as he stops the car.
"Yeah, it's leading here," I tell him. "Maybe if we get out of the car?" We get out and follow the glow of the toy until it reaches its strongest point. Robin is about to step forward when I stop him.
"What if it's protected by Zelena's magic?" I ask.
"Well, it's for my son, and I'll risk anything for him." He tells me, as he steps forward and disappears.
"Robin??" I shout. I grab onto Henry and keep him close, when suddenly, something pulls me through.
"It's alright," Robin assures me.
"Oh my gosh, I thought something terrible had happened to you... I got so scared,"
"I'm okay."
"Look!" I say, holding up the toy.
"He must be close."
                          
[Robin's POV]
                          
We continue to follow Roland's toy, when I suddenly see me.
"Roland!" I shout, as I run towards him. He notices me, and also runs to me. I grab him, pick him up and hold him close. "Are you okay??" I ask him.
"Yes," He replies. I carry him back towards Emma.
"Thank you," I say to her. We begin to walk out, when suddenly Henry notices something.
"Look what I found," He says as he points out markings on a stone.
"Henry, we don't have time for this," Emma tells him, but I have other thoughts.
"No, it's an arrow," I say as I look at it closely. I put Roland down and take a closer look.
"Daddy," I hear Roland call me.
"Yeah?" I reply.
"There's something deeper in the forest that I saw earlier," He tells us. "Follow me,"
We all follow him deeper into the forest.
"Robin, are you so sure about this?" She asks me.
"It's Roland. He's a smart boy," I explain.
"He's leading us further into these woods, and these are hidden. No one has seen this before."
"Not no one. Roland has,"
Eventually we arrive at the centre of the forest, when all of a sudden, we're all whisked up by a net, trapping us all except Roland.
"You really think it would be that easy?" Zelena says as she grabs onto Roland. All of my anger builds up and I shout in a rage.
"YOU PUT HER DOWN YOU-"
"Me? Me what? I know I'm a witch. I'm wicked, and wicked always wins."
"Not always, Zelena." Emma says.
"Oh yes, always. It takes time. And I've had a lot of thinking in that cell, and being all alone helped a lot. I have Regina. Who's stronger now?"
"Regina is still stronger and better than you'll ever be." I say.
"No, not really. She's powerless right now. She's rotting on the ground, and she's barely surviving. I have all power over her. I control her, just like your little Roland." I look at him, stood there innocently, being held by her. "Enjoy your stay, I don't think you're going anywhere any time soon." She says as she disappears in a green cloud of smoke. As the smoke disappears, I notice something. Roland is gone.
"Don't worry, Robin, we will get out of here, we will find Regina and Roland. We found him once, I'm sure we can find both of them." Emma says.
"I hope so," I mutter, beginning to lose all hope in everything.
                          
A/N: A shorter chapter than others, I'm sorry but I'm going to try and write as often as I can, I'm back at school at the moment and have a lot of stuff to do. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it ^-^ ♡
