Chapter 20

                                    

                                          

I woke up in a plush queen size bed. I had a banging headache and I didn't recognize where I was. I looked down and noticed i had a clean shirt and sweat pants. I looked over and saw an empty spot in the bed. I sat up in bed and notice I still had the IV in me. The bag was just about empty. I took the needle out and noticed a cup of water on the table next to me. I grabbed the glas and chugged the whole cup. It felt good to drink and it tasted wonderful. 
                          
Sebastian- Good afternoon. 
                          
I looked up and saw Sebastian standing there. I stood up and half walked half jogged to him. I hugged him tightly and I cried in his arms. I've been through hell and it felt so good to be back with him.  He carried me back to the bed and laid me back down. 
                          
Sebastian- you need to stay in bed. 
                          
He wiped my tears and kissed my lips. I missed his kisses. He rubbed my head ti calm me. 
                          
Sebastian- shhh. Its okay. Im here. Im not letting nothing else happen to you. I promise you baby. I went crazy looking for you. I couldn't even focus on business. I love you. Okay? I swear to my last breath I will not let any harm come your way. 
                          
I nodded as he kissed me again. 
                          
Phoenix- where's Mickey?
Sebastian- Him and his homies is getting put through hell. Just like they out you through. 
Phoenix- Save Jimmy. He was good to me. He even fed me sometimes when Mickey and Lamar wouldn't. He never once out a needle in me or lay a hand on me. 
Sebastian- I'll see what I can do. Lay down and rest. Ill get you some more water. 
                          
He grabbed the glass and left. He came back with a refill and two pills. I took the pills for my headache and drunk the whole glass again. 
                          
Sebastian- If your ready, Christian Wants to talk to you. 
                          
I thought for a second then nodded. I still didn't know what he was going to do to me. But I Sebastian by my side so I felt better. He helped me up and led me to Christian. My stomach was in knots and I was nervous. We made our way back to his office and he opened the door. Christian sat behind his desk with an manilla folder in front of him. On the side of him was a woman. She put her hand in front of her mouth as I sat down in front of them. As I studied her face I noticed some things.  She was a beautiful woman. She had brown eyes, cinnamon skin tone and medium length hair. 
                          
She walked over to me and kneeled down to me. She had tears in her eyes. I don't why but I felt some sort of connection to her. 
                          
Women- Its her. Oh my god, shes here. 
Christian- Hazel, are you sure?
Hazel- Look at the papers Christian! It says it. A mother knows when she sees her daughter. 
Phoenix- What?
Hazel (starts crying)- Baby girl, we are your parents. We've been trying to find you from the day you were taken from us. 
                          
My head started to hurt more. I put my hand on my head. 
                          
Phoenix- What?
Christian- When the nurse drew your blood yesterday, we asked for a paternity test. And we are 99.937% your parents. 
                          
He handed me the folder that had both of their test in it.  Both of them said they are 99.937% connected to me. Tears started to stream down my face. I wiped them off and looked at Sebastian then to Christian, my father and Hazel, my mother. 
                          
Phoenix- Why did you put me in the fister home?
Hazel- Oh baby we didn't. You were taken from us when you were one. 
Christian- One of my old Rivals, Marcus Dixon, took you from us. Even though we caught up to him, he took to his grave where you were at.
Sebastian- So her name is not Phoenix Dixon?
Hazel- No. Shes a Rivera. 
Phoenix- You didn't search the system for me?
Hazel- We did hunny. But he changed your name, birthday and social security. 
                          
I looked at Hazel in her eyes and I just melted in her embrace. We hugged and cried together. She kissed my forehead and held me close. 
                          
Hazel- My baby. My baby has come back to me. 
                          
I let go of her as Christian walked over to me. I stood up and hugged my father. I cried in his chest as I finally realized that I had a family. 
                          
The phone rang and Christian went to answer it. 
                          
Christian- Kill them. 
                          
I clink two and two together and I figured he was talking about Mickey and them. 
                          
Phoenix- Save Jimmy. He was good to me. And I want to be the one to handle them. 
                          
Sebastian- Me too. 
                          
Christian looked from me to Sebastian. 
                          
Christian- Don't kill them yet. And let Jimmy go. 
                          
He hung up the phone. 
                          
He walked over to Sebastian and looked at him. 
                          
Christian- Protect her. 
Sebastian- I plan too.

After a well needed bath and nap i changed into some clothes that Sebastian bought me. We got into a car and the driver drive off. I found out that Ive been in Novi this whole time. We drove down to the city and turned into a house on Plymouth and Greenfield. It was around 3 am and the air was cool. We walked into the house and I saw Jimmy sitting up front. He was badly beaten and he'd been shot in the arm. 
                          
I told one of the body guards to go get him taken care of. He nodded to me and left with the body guard.  We walked down to the basement and saw Mickey and Lamar in a gruesome sight. They were beaten and shot in the legs and arms. When they saw me and Sebastian, their eyes got big. 
                          
Phoenix- Hello boys. I told you I would come back for you. This is only going to take a quick second because my father wants you dead like ASAP. So If you haven't heard, I am the daughter of Christian and Hazel Rivera. And what you did to me, not only pissed off me and my man. But also my father. So you guys signed your own deaths. 
                          
I walked up the Mickey and looked him in his face. 
                          
Phoenix- I told you i was going to kill you. 
                          
I walked away as Sebastian cocked his gun. 
                          
Phoenix- You know you should feel sorta lucky. Your going to die by a notorious king pin daughter . One of the richest men in the states. Maybe the world. Thats kind of an honor. Don't you think Mickey?
                          
I smiled as I signaled for Sebastian to kill them. He let out two shots in each of them. Now that I know who's blood is in me, people are going to fear me.
