"I look horrible." Ivy stated as she stomped down the stairs, anger practically radiated off of her body. She huffed and crossed her arms over her chest and plopped down on the last step to make her point. 
Danny smiled down at his girlfriend, feeling very satisfied with himself. "Oh come on babe you don't look bad, you look cu-"
She held up her hand to cut him off, "Don't you dare call me cute Daniel." 
He held his hand over his heart in mock hurt, Ivy rolled her eyes and flipped him off. He chuckled and pulled her to her feet then led her to the hall mirror. "You look just fine the way you are Ivy. Now come on we have to head down to my mom's work before going to Dylan's." 
"Your mom's work I'll go to in this, Dylan's party? Fuck that."
He sighed letting his head drop into her padded shoulder. Sometimes Ivy really frustrated him and caused his head to hurt, but then again what female wasn't frustrating. His mom was even worse than Ivy so in a sense she wasn't that bad in comparison. "Alright," he said opening the hall closet. "How about you wear this to mom's work then when we leave for Dylan's we'll switch up the costumes and I'll go in your costume and you can take this.
Ivy's eyes grew wide at the revealing costume that Danny held in his hands, "And just exactly who's is that Danny?" 
He smiled evilly and shrugged, "I was planning on saving it for my own personal entertainment later, but since you insist that you look horrible I guess I'll risk getting into a few fights at Dylan's." 
"Oh god Danny." She knew that she was trapped in his little mind games but she didn't feel like arguing right then, so she just took the costume and went out to the car. 

                          
"Oh Ivy!" Danny's mom squealed happily when she saw her and Danny walk in. "You look absolutely adorable! The kids are going to love you!"
Ivy glared at Danny over his mom's shoulder, he just smiled and tried to contain his laughter. Oh he was in the dog house for sure for this little stunt that he was pulling on her but honestly he didn't care. He loved how she was trying so hard to be mad at him yet still look happy and adorable for the kids that were around them. 
'She she screams in silen-"
He pulled out his phone quickly and flipped it open. "What's up Jordon?" He asked quietly. 
"Hey man we're down the hall, is she there?" 
"Yeah she's got the full costume on and hugging some little girl."
"Which one did you give her?" Jordon asked excitedly. 
"The lion costume."
Jordon burst out laughing at the idea of Ivy Lee dressed in a full lion costume. He was so going to give her shit about this for the rest of the school year. "Okay we're here man." He said then hung up. 
Danny got up from his seat and motioned for Jordon and the guys to move, George nodded and they ran for the other side of the room. Oh she's going to hate me, he thought to himself as he made his way to her. A few kids have her some last hugs and took a few handfuls of candy then left. Danny knew that she was more than likely glaring at him from under the lions head, he gave her a small wave and a sweet smile. 
Ivy's anger slowly melted away the more she greeted small kids in princess and superhero costumes. A few of them were from the cancer unit and told her that tonight has been the best night of their life cause they got to come out of their rooms to see her, well Emma the Lion, the hospitals mascot for the children's program. Okay so maybe being here wasn't all that bad after all, she thought as she hugged the last kid and gave him some candy. When she turned around Danny was standing there smiling at her, the last bit of anger she had slipped away from her body when her eyes met his. A smile stretched across her face then she began to take off the costumes gloves and head. "Ugh finally I can breathe proper-"
"NOW DYLAN!!" Danny yelled. 
What?!!
She turned around at the last second to see Dylan rushing towards her with a can of silly string in his hand. The pink string covered her whole face in a sticky mess. She stood there frozen, anger taking over her again. She closed her eyes tightly and took deep breaths while the guys all high fived each other and gushed about the success of their plan. 
"You okay sweetie?" Danny's mom came up to her and began to help her clean up. "Yes I'm fine Mrs. Murillo I just can't believe that he would do this to me."
Danny's mom smiled then left to go over to the desert table, she came back with a couple pies and some other random messy foods. She handed Ivy some of the food and told her that they were going to ambush the boys, Ivy felt totally thrilled that her boyfriend's mom was going to help her get revenge on him and the guys. Both women waited for their opportunity to strike then open fired on the guys. Danny's mom was the first one to hit Danny square in the face with a cake. 
All six boys turned to face Ivy and Mrs. Murillo, they both stood fully armed with food. Jordon smiled wickedly then yelled, "FOOD FIGHT!!!" 
It quickly became an all out war once Jordon declared war. Some of the nurses and doctors even joined in along with a few interns like one of the girls in Ivy's home economics class, Theresa, she had good aim and teamed up with Ivy and Danny's mom. At one point Dylan had tackled Reese to the ground and had smashed a brownie on her forehead. Ivy tried to get up to help her teammate, but Danny had come up behind her and brought her down to the floor. He had pinned both her arms down on either side of her before shoving a blueberry pie on her chest. She brought her knee up and hit him in his gut, he instantly rolled off of her onto his back. Ivy smiled triumphantly then hit him with a muffin. "So you regret coming here now... Emma the Lion." He teased her playfully. 
She shook her head and punched him in his chest lightly, "I hate you sometimes...but no I don't regret coming here." She said honestly, Danny smiled up at her and brought his lips to her's for a gentle kiss. 
"AYE!! LOVEBIRDS!!!" Jordon yelled at Danny and Ivy before launching a red velvet cake at them. "GET A ROOM!!"
