October 16
It sure was a busy day for me, Sheyenne, Charlene, our mom, Gianna, Daniel, Millie, Mason, Marybeth, Isica, Ms. Dolly, Ms. Madison, and Martissla today! We ran some errands.
While my mom was in Best Buy for a long time, Sheyenne, Martissla, and I sat in the car while the others just ran around in the parking lot. Ms. Madison had to grab Charlene before she got run over by a car. Remember when Marybeth had to rescue Timmy when he almost got hit by a car??
I took Charlene and Gianna into the bathroom and then when we all came out, I sat back in the car with Shy and Martissla. We still waited a long time for my mom.
When we finally left, we had lunch at Olive Garden. I sat between Millie and Ms. Dolly across from my mom and Isica. Little Isica is so cute! She was adorable sitting across from us so we could look at her. We kept playing that trivia game on that new little screen on our table.
After Olive Garden, we went to the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home). The 13 of us walked into a building and got some little audio things, where you press a button and listen to a short biography about something. We walked around and saw a lot of cool things, like old books that are over 100 years old, and there was a carriage sitting in the center. Ms. Dolly put Isica on the steps of the carriage (even though the sign says, "Don't Touch") and took Izzy's picture. I saw the pic and thought Isica looked so cute! Mrs. Stacissa, her mommy, would be very happy to see that picture later. She'd also be happy to see the picture Ms. Madison took of Isica, Charlene, and Gianna sitting in the carriage. The Don't Touch signs don't apply to invisible people.
When we were all outside, we saw the mansion Andrew Jackson lived in. We had to listen to a lady and a man talk for a few minutes and then we got to go in. There mwere really neat rooms, and we got to see Andrew Jackson's room. Then upstairs, we got to see the children's rooms. It was cute how Charlene was telling Gianna that if they lived there, they could each have one of the beds in this one bedroom and Izzy could sleep in the crib.
We went downstairs and outside and we saw the biggest room in the entire house: the dining room. Sheyenne and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It had a giant chandelier, a long table, and light blue walls. We also saw a pantry and the room the family ended every night with prayer in.
We were outside for a while and then we walked back to the place we were when we first came. I think we had a good time, because each of us had someone that they could talk to. I had a friend my age (Millie), Sheyenne had a friend her age (Marybeth), Gianna and Charlene had each other and Isica, Daniel and Mason had each other, and the grown-ups could talk to each other and hang out. Well, my mom couldn't see the other three women but oh well.
At night, Lynn, Minnie, Millie, and I played Family Feud.
