"Where is my daughter! Where is my Amber! I'm filing a complaint." Said Ambers mother, Leanne. She marched straight over to the Martians complaint
office. "These guys are very organised..." She said to herself. Making
her way down the line. She finally arrived.
"Hi I'd like to make a complaint" said Leanne
"Of course, what is your complaint?"
"My complaint is you have left my daughter on planet earth, that's my
complaint you numbskull" said the mother, her face turning red with
anger. "Oh my! There are only 17 days left! The bomb is very fragile!
If she goes and even touches that bomb. It will change the bomb to a
less number of days of survival an we won't know. We can't go back. It isn't safe." Said the Martian
"I can't leave my daughter alone on planet earth!" Screamed the mother in horror "Oh she's not alone. There is a boy called Ryan on earth with her" said the Martian calmly. "Now I have a lot of angry humans to see miss. We will get into contact with earth and tell the two children not to touch the
bomb and not to seek it. Then we can still come on the 19th day. Is that
okay ma'am?" Said the Martian frustratedly. Leanne could tell the alien
didn't have the patience for this so she nodded and left the line. At
least her baby would be safe. She went back into the control room an
noticed a women sitting in a corner crying to herself. Leanne walked
over to her slowly and quietly.
"Hi... Are you okay?" Said Leanne. Looking around to see if anyone was looking."No,no I'm not okay" said the crying lady with a sniff. "These Martians have left my baby boy on earth with some cow and a bomb that could go of with a single touch of course I'm not okay!" Said the women getting
angry. She saw the women frowning an wondered why.
"That 'cow' is my daughter and I'd rather have you not talk about a child like that no matter who's it is. I know you're upset but our children are on earth with a bomb that could go of at anytime. We can't do anything about that. We may see them again but if not then there's nothing we can do" said Leanne trying to keep calm. She felt like crying too. But someone needed to be strong in this place, right?
The lady looked up in consideration. She then opened her mouth getting ready to talk.
"You're right. Thanks, bringing me to my senses. They will be okay. Don't you think?"
Said the lady. Leanne smiled and nodded. "What's your name?"
Said Leanne being her usual nice self. Maybe she had a new friend.
"Penelope" said the women with a smile. They were getting on, which is a good thing... I think...
