Aphmau's pov
The root was still covering my mouth. I was on the verge of tears and what mad it worse is that the tree behind me had arms. One of the branches reached out and grabbed me until I was stuck in its hand. It wasn't covering my mouth anymore but I couldn't find my voice.
It pulled me to a part of the tree, and then, I watched the bark lift up and it had eyes. "Ents?" That was all I could say before the Ent frowned and grumbled. "Are you the Lord of Phoenix Drop?" His voice was a low scratchy rumble and some how I spoke. "Y-yes I am."
When I said that he looked mad and he tightened his grip on me. He was squeezing me so hard that it was getting hard to breath. I started to feel lightheaded when I heard a familiar laughter It was one of someone evil.
Garroth's pov
The tree event to hit us again and we dodged. As I was dodging I was looking for a way to escape the tree. "You Ents what do you want!?" The branches stopped and I looked at the tree. The bark shifted and the Ent opened its eyes.
Laurence gasped at the sight, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised too. The voice that spoke boomed the ground below us and I wobbled a bit. "Are you the Lord of Phoenix Drop?"
I was confused at his question and I shook my head and said "No I'm not and neither is Laurence." He frowned and said "Then we have no use for you!" He swung one of the branches down and I blocked it with my shield.
Sparks flew and I looked at Laurence he was fighting the other branches.
Laurence' pov
The Ent attacked once more and Garroth and I fought off the attacking branches. Garroth blocked with his shield and this brought back the memories when we were saving Aphmau from Zane that last time.
"Raah!" I jumped in the air and slashed through the branch. My sword went right through the branch and it fell to the ground. The Ent let out a loud roar that me and Garroth had to cover our ears.
We looked at the Ent and he put his branches back. "Why did you attack us?!" His eyes shifted to me and he said "We had no choice he was going to kill us with fire."What? Who?" The Ent took a deep breath and said "A...........High Priest."
