"JJ. Why isn't your sister here? Oh right. She was kidnapped and raped. I forgot." said Bradley Voight walking over to JJ getting up and throwing his food away.

"How the hell did you forget Bradley? Why don't you go smoke some weed or something."

"I don't do that anymore. And I didn't I wanted to see your reaction. But Is she ok?"

"Yeah. She'll be fine. Now if you'll excuse me. I gotta go play Football. So you can go do whatever you want."

"I don't have anything else to do. So I wanted to come pick on my little cousin."

"I'm not little and You're only two years older than me. Plus I can kick your ass in a heartbeat."

"I'd like to see you try."

Mason and Michael walked over

"Cmon JJ. Let's go." said Mason

"No. No. He wants to start something. Let's go." Jay walked over to the football field.

"I bet you can't kick my ass."

"Oh. Yeah. Mason,Michael. Help me kick his ass. So I don't have to deal with him."

Bradley walked over to JJ and punched him. Jay took his fist and punched him.

"You are such a sissy Jay."

Mason punched Bradley.

The next thing they knew. They were sitting in the principals office. Waiting for their parents to come.

"Jay Matthew Halstead! What were you thinking? I do not raise you to be a fighter." yelled Jay

"But."

"Jay. No buts."

"Bradley is expelled since He's the one who started it." said The Principal

"Bradley,You're punished."

Jay and JJ walked out of the office and into the parking lot. Jay high fived JJ.
"You may not tell your mother about this or the high five."

"I won't. I hate Bradley."

"I hate his Dad and don't tell your Mom. I said that either."

"Dad,I love you."

"I love you too JJ. I am going to teach you how to shoot. Your mom said I had to wait til your 13."

"Really? How am I ever going to be as good as a sniper as you or Lane?"

"Yeah. I didn't teach Lane until he was 13. He's a great sniper."

"I want to be just like you and Lane. I wanna save people. Law Enforcement is in my blood. I don't know If I'd be able to do another job. I wanna be a Hero. Be known for something."

"Bud. I'll help you get there. I know you want to. I will help you."

"Jessa. Are you ok?" asked Erin

"Mom,I'm fine. Can we just get to the counselors please."

Erin drove to the counselor and Jessa walked into the room. She sat down and didn't talk.

"Jessa,I am Doctor Hill and I wanna help you. Can you say something. What do you wanna be when you grow up?"

Jessa sat up straight.
"A Police Officer like my Mom and Dad and brother and sister."

"Jessa,That's cool. Can you tell me what happened?"

She had a lump in her throat.
"I was sitting on the steps of the 21st District where my Mom and Dad work. I get up and go for a walk. Then all of a sudden Someone punches me and I am knocked out cold. I remember them punching me and kicking me and One of the guys raped me. Then I remember my Brother Lane coming in and He punched the guy that hurt me then he got shot." Jessa couldn't hold back hear tears.

"Ok. Ok. This is not your fault Jessa. I promise. You did not do anything."

"Yes,I did. I am the one who decided to take a damn walk. I am the one who got Lane shot. This is all my fault."

"Jessa, no no. It's not."

"Yeah. It is." Jessa barged the door open.

"Mom. Let's go."
Erin walked her to the car and drove to the house.

"Hey JJ! Hey Jay!" said Erin

"Hey Mom."
The two of them sat on the couch and watched the BlackHawks game.

"Hey Mom. Can you and I go shopping? Just the two of us."

"Yeah. Jessa. Jay,pick up Jules."

"Alright."
Jessa and Erin walked back out.
"Mom,I wanna do this more often. Go shopping."

"Let's do this every month. You and I no one else."

"I'd like that. And Also I wanna be a Police Officer. I wanna protect and serve. I wanna help people out."

"Jessa,I will always have your back with whatever you choose. You can be a Doctor or a firefighter like Aunt Gabby and I will still stand behind you. Chase your dreams. Do it."

"I will Mom. I love that I can talk to you. It's better than dad who freaks out when I even mention Mason."

"You like him don't you?"

"Well,No. I don't know. I get this feeling whenever I am around him. It's different than when I am around Michael or JJ. I love it though."

"You're in love with my best friend's son. And don't worry your secret is safe with me."

"Thanks Mom."

"JJ come on. We gotta go get your sister."

Jay drove to the preschool and got out his car and went inside.

"Daddy!" yelled Juliet

Juliet went running to him.
"Hey Baby Girl. How did school go?"

"We hear you did good on your report card. So We wanted to Congratulate you on that. And you get to shoot the puck into the goal. If you make it. Come to the back and you'll get to meet the team. If you don't make it. You can still come to the back"

JJ shot the puck into the goal. He was jumping up for joy.
"Dad! I made it." He mouthed off to Jay

After the game. Jay and his son went to the back and met the team. JJ got a jersey and he got to take a picture with the team. They also signed his jersey.
