Chapter 10: Welcoming a new memeber

Rachel's POV
                          
I was 39 weeks pregnant. And again... ITS AWFUL. I've been getting Braxton hicks contractions So hopefully this baby will come soon! It's actually pretty rare for a teenager to be 39-40 weeks pregnant. Normally teenagers give birth at 36-38 weeks. 
                          
"Hey baby," Finn said while leaning over a kissing my neck. "Good morning."
                          
"Good morning honey!" 
                          
"Looks like someone is a good mood today!" Finn said.
                          
"Well I'm due next week!" 
                          
"I can't wait!" Finn said. "Let me go and set up the changing table." 
                          
Ugh I'm going to miss him. It was Sunday and he's going back to school tomorrow! Oh well. 
                          
I went downstairs and made breakfast. My dads are heading home on Wednesday and they said they had a surprise for us. I wonder what it is. 
                          
Finn has being working on the nursery the whole weekend.
                          
"Rachel!" Finn yelled, "Come here."
                          
I walked up stairs and met Finn in the nursery. 
                          
"Yeah honey what's up?"
                          
"Does the pink look good?" He said showing me the walls.
                          
"I love it! Now take a break breakfast is ready." 
                          
For the very first time I'm eating more than Finn. He's always one upped me on that.
                          
After breakfast Finn went back to work on the nursery and Quinn Came over.
                          
"Hey Quinn! Come in." I said.
                          
"Where's Finn?"
                          
"He's working in the nursery." I said.
                          
"Oh! So what do you wanna do?"
                          
"Well I have to ask you something! Can you sit down?"
                          
We sat on the couch and I began to ask Quinn a question.
                          
"Okay so my due date is in 6 days which means one way or another this baby is coming out of me. I am so afraid for it to hurt, and afterwards did it hurt to pee? I'm so scared!" 
                          
"Rachel calm down. Yeah it does hurt like hell, but if you can get an epidural! I couldn't get one because I was already so far in labor, but my mom said it was a LIFESAVER. And yeah! It stung like hell when I had to pee. Oh and no sex until like 3 months after birth!" 
                          
"Thanks Quinn! What would I do without you!" 
                          
"Finn!!" I yelled.
                          
He came RUNNING no SPRINTING down the stairs. I think he thought I was in labor. 
                          
"What are you okay? Do I need to get towels?" Finn said.
                          
"No... Quinn and I are going to get pedicures," I said laughing. 
                          
"Oh okay baby! See you later." He kissed me on my head and Quinn and I left.
                          
After our pedicures Quinn dropped me off at home and Finn and I were ready for our last appointment. 
                          
"So are you ready for your last appointment?" Finn said.
                          
"So ready! Let's go!" 

                          
-At the doctors-
                          
"Okay Rachel so we are going to do one last ultrasound." Dr. Taylor said.
                          
"Sounds good!"
                          
She put the gel on my stomach and it felt colder than normal. I could even feel the baby move when she put it on.
