My heart was beating a mile a minute. Why hasn't he hurt me yet? I feel the person sit beside me. The person spoke in a sweet voice. "What are you hiding from?" Asked the person. It was obviously a lady. I slowly peaked up to see my Half sister sitting beside me. We share the same mom, but not the same dad. I rarely see her, because she lives in an apartment in New York. She's 19. And She goes to NYU. Her name is Willow. I smiled at her. She smiled back. Her eyes slowly drifted to the note in my hand. She grabbed it and started to read. When she was done she just stared at me in shock. "Is your dad abusing you?" She asked. I didn't reply. She can't know. She kept repeating the question, each time getting louder. I stayed silent. She eventually gave up and sighed. I got up and started heading inside. She followed me, keeping silent. I looked around to make sure no one was home. Dad should be at work. I continued down the hall and up the stairs. I walked down another hallway that lead to my room. I slowly opened up the door and immediately my nose filled with a musty scent. I turned to look behind me, but Willow wasn't there. She must be downstairs. I continue into the old room and sat myself on the prehistoric bed. The bed I'm using right now is the one my mom used as a child. And she is suppose to be 35 now. I looked around the room. It's a tiny room. The walls are a shade of white, and the hard wood floors are covered in dust. The floor makes loud creaking noises if you walk on it. I have a poster on the wall of a sunset setting over a beach above my dresser. I don't have very much clothes in it though. I pay for all of my stuff. Once my mom left, I've had to provide for all of my stuff because my dad refuses to pay for anything of mine. So once I turn 16, I will be able to get a better job, and start paying for things that I want. I walked over to my dresser. I opened the bottom drawer. There was all of the food I eat, with $200.00 in cash. I use to babysit people's kids for $3.00 an hour. But when my mom disappeared, my dad told everyone that I was the reason why, so people stopped letting me babysit kids. My life sucks. I grabbed $5.00 and grabbed a jacket. Its October right now. So it's chilly outside. I went to the my bathroom and looked at myself. The bruises showed on my face, and so did the scars. I opened up the cabinet and pulled out my makeup. I put on some concealer and some blush. I added a light amount of eye shadow. I looked at myself one last time and excited the bathroom. I walked up to my dresser and pulled out a grey baseball t-shirt, some capris, and I put on my grey vans. I added my mothers necklace on too. I put on a grey beanie also and headed down the stairs. My sis was looking in the fridge. She sighed when she shut the door. "You guys have nothing to eat around here." She told me. I chuckle. "Yea, I know." I replied. She looked up at me and smiled. "Where are you going?" She asked. I smiled. "I'm going to Mc Donald's for some lunch." I told her. "You know you have to take me with you right?" She smirked. I giggled. "Yea, c'mon." I replied. She followed me and grabbed her car keys. We walked outside and I saw Andy and a little girl throwing a ball back and forth. I smiled. He looked over and saw me and waved. Right as he waved, the little girl threw the ball, and it hit him in the head. The little girl covered her mouth with her hands. Andy gave her a playful glare. He chased her and she took off running. He caught up with her and picked her up. She screamed. "Andy put me down!". He continued walking and dropped her in a pile of leaves. She giggled and Andy chuckled. Willow grabbed my hand and we walked to her car. We hopped in and she started the car. The car started and she started driving. "What was that about?" I asked. "Sorry, but I'm starving and you were walking really slow." She whined. I giggled. "Whatever." I replied. Willow turned on the radio and started to sing when her favorite songs song came on. "But this is me swallowing my pride standing in front you saying I'm sorry for that night. And I go back to December all the time." She sang. It was a song by Taylor Swift, back when she was a country artist. Eventually we pulled into Mc Donald's. We walked in. She went up and ordered while I sat in a booth. I waited, and stared out the window. A few minutes later the food came and we started to eat. Then a person sat down next to me. I looked to the side and nearly choked on my food. "Dad?!" I yelled.
