Harry.
I smile, watching Bea from bed as she gets ready for work. Her hair has gotten really long since she moved in and now she curls it in the mornings. It's the most beautiful thing and I find myself completely adoring the girl. I'm so far whipped than anyone I have ever heard of in a relationship.
"What time will you be done?" I ask, calling Mac onto the bed after.
"Probably 4," she says, Mac resting his head on my stomach.
"I'll come pick you up at 4," I tell her, her feet walking out of the bathroom.
She sits down and scratches Mac's head, her hand grabbed by mine. "I'll see you then," she says, kissing my forehead. Then she kisses my eye, my cheeks, then my lips.
"Bye love," I tell her, her lips curving.
"Bye handsome," she whispers, standing up and walking out of the house.
After I shower and get ready for work, I drive down to the bakery and pick up the bread before taking it to the café. Once I get there, my phone rings and I answer it.
"What's up Bea?" I ask, her voice flowing through the phone.
"I think I'm sick," she says, my arms dropping boxes onto the back counter.
"Do you need me to pick you up?" I rush, not wanting her working if she's not feeling good.
"But I don't feel sick. I got here and my stomach turned. I excused myself from the meeting and I felt fine after I...threw up," she says, my eyebrows frowning.
"I don't want you working if you're sick," I explain, not knowing what to do. She can't work if she'll be throwing up.
"If anything else happens, I'll call you. Don't worry about right now," she says, my lips releasing a sigh.
"This is going to bother me for the rest of the day," I tell her. "I need to know you'll be okay."
"Then I'll text you. Don't worry too hard or you won't work well. I'm a big girl, Harry. I know how to take care of myself," she attempts to assure but the thought of her being sick makes me anxious.
"Please text me. I need to know you're okay," I admit, her health so important to me.
"I will. Don't you worry handsome," she says, my lips curving. I love how she calls me handsome despite my scars.
We hang up and I finish work at the café, pulling up the text from Bea. She went home and I frown, quickly getting into my car. She didn't call me to pick her up.
As soon as I'm in the house, I walk into the bedroom and see Bea curled into the sheets. Mac is beside her and I look at my sleeping girl.
Her eyes look puffy and I softly kiss her cheek, letting her rest considering all my anger has dissolved. At least she's home and she's safe. But she stirs, looking up at me.
"How are you feeling?" I ask, her shoulders shrugging.
"Just rest," I say, her hand grabbing mine.
"I love you," she says, my lips curving. I lay beside her and pull her into my arms, her head resting on my chest.
"I love you too," I whisper, her body pulled into me tightly. She seems to want to cuddle into me more than ever, her small body held to mine tightly.
I lay with her for a while and I kiss her cheek, getting up to use the bathroom.
"I'll be right back, love," I say, her head nodding.
After using the bathroom, I wash my hands but something catches my eye in the trash. A box resides in the bin and I look at it before lifting it out. My heart races as I see that it's a pregnancy test, opening the box. It rests inside and I take it out, parting my lips as I look at it. There are two pink lines and according to the test, that means she's pregnant.
