Hello minna! Thank you for the nice feedback about the story and how the plots going! Keep it coming! Hope you like this chapter!

~Natsu's POV~

As I made my way to Algebra class I could hear a few people whisper.

"I hear she finally came."

"Yeah, supposedly she's super rich and really spoiled."

"What a pain."

Not really caring what they were talking about, I kept walking and met up with Erza.

"Yo Erza! How ya been?" I with a smile.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking." She said formally while entering the classroom. "Have you heard? the new girl finally showed up."

"Really? So that's what most people are talking about. But I don't see what the big deal is."

"Okay class take your seats. We are!" Said professor Scorpio. "Now I know there are new students here so I will be calling them in one by one to present themselves. First up is Juvia Lockser."

I didn't care much cause' all the newbies had already introduced themselves yesterday, so I just tuned them out.

I started doodling in my note book--a big fat mean Erza--until I heard a familiar name being called. "And finally, Lucy Heartfilia." My eye's went wide as I recognized the name. She walked to the front of the room.

"Psst Natsu." I heard Erza whisper but I was to in shock to respond. "Pssssst! Natsu!" She whisper-yelled throwing a book at my face even though she sits right next to me. (._.)

"What?!" I whispered yelled back.

"From what I've been told, that's the Lucy Heartfilia." She said.

"So what?" I said not really paying attention to her.

"She is bad news. She's rich because of her fathers company and is rotten to the core. She thinks she's better then everyone else just because she has her dad giving her whatever she wants. I recommend staying away from her." Then she went back to looking at the front of the room.

It's pretty weird hearing that from Erza....

Yeah I'm probably not going to listen to her anyways.

"My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I'm 17 years old and I like writing. Can I sit now?" She asked in a rude tone.

"Sure? Please take a seat there. We are." He pointed to the empty chair next to me.

Luck was on my side!

For a second we made eye contact and my heart skipped a beat, I was ready to jump for joy at the fact that I finally found my childhood best friend.

But what confused me was that she didn't react as I expected. All she did was look away as if it were nothing and made her way to her seat.

"Alright now that that's done, lets start with Evaluating Expressions..." The class went on but I didn't pay much attention to it.

I turned to look at Lucy and she's just doodling and staring at her journal.

Could it really be her?? But she didn't recognize me. And why is she acting this way? She was never like this before...

She then turned to look back at me and I noticed I was staring too long.

"What do you want?" She asked harshly. I didn't know what to say, my mouth would open but nothing came out. "Are you just going to just sit there and keep gawking at me or are you going to actually say something intelligent?"

Ouch.

A few seconds passed and all I could manage to say was

"What happened to you?" She looked at me with a confused and a bit of surprised face.

"Well since you don't want to pay attention to my class Ms.Heartfilia why don't you go stand outside in the hallway?" Asked the teacher tapping his foot looking pissed off. Everyone turned to look at us and I could see she was getting mad. So I did the first thing that came to mind.

"I was the one that started the conversation, I'll be the one to go out side." I stood up and got out the room before the teacher could object.

I got some questioning stairs--especially from Erza but they were more like glares--and ignored them as closed the door behind me. I don't know why I took the blame but it's too late to do anything about it now.

~*~

Erza, Gray, Juvia, Lisanna, Mirajane, Levy, Gajeel and I got our lunch trays an we sat our usual table near the window.

"Did you see how rude she was to the teacher?" Mentioned Lisanna.

"Yeah but, we should cut her some slack." Began Levy. "It is her first day after all."

"I don't know..." Cautioned Erza.

"Look, I'm gonna go talk to her, you know, get to know her a bit better?" She got up and started heading to Lucy's table, witch was currently empty.

Normal POV

Levy walked over to Lucy and placed her food tray on the table.

"Hi, My name is Levy McGarden." She said extending her hand out for her to shake it. Lucy looked at her hand and then back to her food to keep eating. Levy awkwardly retracted her hand and tried again. "I-I heard you like writing, well I like reading and it would be really great if I could be the first to re-" She was cut off when Lucy moved her hand up signaling her to stop.

"Look, let me be honest. I don't want anyone reading anything I write and I don't really care if you like reading, so why don't we make this conversation easier. You get up, turn around and act like you never talked to me and I'll try to finish whats left of my food in peace, got it? Good." She gave a fake smile and continued eating her ham and cheese sandwich.

Levy was speechless at her shameless attitude. No one has ever spoken to her like that. Well, at least not anyone from school. So she quickly got up with her tray at hand and walked back to her friends.

"So how did it go?" Asked Gray. Levy didn't say anything because tears started to collect in the corner of her eye's.

"What's wrong?!" Asked Gajeel with concern.

"S-She's a h-horrible person." She sat down dropping her tray on the table.

"What did she tell you?" Asked Lisanna while walking over to comfort her.

"I-I was trying to be nice by starting a normal conversation b-but she stopped me mid-sentence and said that I should just forget a-about her and that I should go come back h-here." She explained between sobs and wiping tears away.

"So the rumors are true." Said Erza. It was clearly noticed that everyone was angry for what Lucy had done to their dear friend.

After that, no one wanted to talk about her and continued eating.

Thankfully, day flew by.

~Time Skip: Lucy's POV~

I got home and immediately flopped on my bed.

I hate this, I hate this, I hate this! I made a nice girl cry for no reason! God I wish I didn't act like that. This is all your fault dad! You made me like this!

I sighed and decided to think about more important things like how I'm running out of money. Maybe I could work at the school or something...Ugh I don't know. I'll just have to see tomorrow...

Suddenly I get a good idea.

"I should call Sting. I haven't heard from him in a while." I start dialing his number and wait.

"Hey this is sting! Sorry I can't answer the phone now, I'll call you back as soon as I can! *Beep* " I hang up.

Maybe he's busy helping his dad with work again. Oh well, I'll try tomorrow.

*Sigh* When will my time here start to get better?
