Derek P.O.V
                          
Scott and Isaac asked if I wanted to go with us to hunt for the werewolves, I didn't want to go without Stiles. "Can Stiles come?" I asked.
                          
"Uh...no" Scott responded.
                          
"Why?" 
                          
"Stiles is human, he's my best friend, I'm not letting him get hurt" Scott started, I forgot, they don't know about Stiles yet. "Why would you want Stiles to come with us? You hate Stiles." I don't hate Stiles, not anymore. 
                          
"What are you guys talking about?" Stiles walked in. 

                          
Stiles P.O.V
                          
I hear them say my name from Derek room, saying that I'm human, and Scott doesn't want me to get hurt, then they ask Derek why he wanted me to come with them so I go downstairs. "What are you guys talking about?" I ask when I walk in. They all turn around. I look at Derek.
                          
"Nothing, we were just going to leave. Right Derek?" Isaac said and looks at Derek.
                          
"Yah... Bye Stiles."
                          
"Okay...um...bye" I say.
                          
"Stay here stiles" Scott says.
                          
"fine"
                          
Isaac and Scott walk out the door, Derek half smiles at me and leaves with them.
I look out the window and wait for them to be out of site and I open the door and leave. The first place I go to is my dads house, Dad opens the door, "hey son" he says and smiles."Come in"
                          
"Where's Melissa?" I ask.
                          
"She went to work, everyone is getting injured, they need as much help as they can get." Dad says. 
                          
"Oh, shouldn't you be at work?"
                          
"I'm going to leave in a few minutes, you can stay here if you want while I'm at work."
                          
"No thanks I'm good dad"
                          
"It's dangerous out there son-"
                          
"I'm going to Allison's house bye!" I give him a quick hug and leave. 
                          
I start walking to Allison's house, all I hear is heavy breathing behind me, I turn around push the person on the floor and punch them without even thinking. Wait... It's Derek. "Sorry Derek" I get off him and I take his hand and help him up. 
                          
"Fast reflexes you have stiles."
                          
"You could say that."
                          
"Why are you out here? I thought you were at my house?"
                          
"No offence, but your house smells like rats, blood, death, and you" 
                          
"Okay..."
                          
"Not that you don't smell good or anything, I'm not you smell good or anything i... Think"
                          
Derek laughs.
                          
"You laugh? I thought you have a straight face and that's it?"
                          
"You just really make me laugh."
                          
"Really?" I smile thinking that I'm the only one that makes Derek smile.
                          
"So, do you want to grab a coffee?"
                          
I jump. He wants to grab a coffee with me? Nope, nope nope sounds like a date.
                          
"uhhhh aren't you supposed to be with Scott and Isaac?"
                          
"They said stay with you so I went home and you weren't there so I followed your scent."
                          
"Oh, you don't need to protect me, I can protect myself."
                          
"They don't know your a werewolf yet stiles, how am I going to tell them that? You told me not to"
                          
"Let's go for that coffee."
