A/N
In this you're a outcast and basically me. So it'll be a bit sad since I'm sad on the inside... I'll be ok though... Maybe... Follow my Instagram and Twitter for status updates... Anywho...

You sighed and sat on the curb. The light rain cooling your hot body. You felt ill, but you knew it was just your body fooling you into wanting to leave early.

You hated school, you hated every second of it. You always felt like you didn't fit in. Like you weren't good enough to be anywhere.

Yeah, you were smart, you were in high level classes, being in some of the most advanced ones. But you just didn't feel smart enough to be there.

You sighed and held your head in your hands, readjusting your headphones after as you blared your music for all to hear. No one was around, you didn't care a bit.

You flipped down your hood and stood, picking up your bag as you moved. You slung it over your shoulder and slid your arms through the straps. You pulled your hood out from under the bag and began to walk again.

One foot in front of the other like always. You kept your eyes on the ground as you let the rain dampen your hair further. You let the music surround you, shutting out the world.

You looked up as you reached the street you always cross. You looked both ways and jogged across, since a car was coming your way. You reached the sidewalk and continued your slow walk home from school.

You felt like you were just a thing, no one special, that you were just there. You pulled a headphone out and let out a sigh, stopping and closing your eyes for a minute. You ran a hand over your face a looked up.

The street was empty, you didn't mind that, it was the uneasy feeling that it had. This street was never empty. Were you missing something? What was happening?

As the uneasiness set in you quickly plugged the headphone back in and took of at a quick pace to your home. You felt like someone was following you, and you were only a few houses away from your own.

You sped up a bit more but the feeling didn't leave you. You reached the front of your house, your key in your hand tightly so you could run to the door and get in as fast as possible.

Just as you were about to take off in a run a hand clasped around your wrist and turned you. The figure stopped you once you were facing him and pulled at your headphones. "You're different." He stated in a whisper.

You looked at the green eyed man confused. "What are you talking about?" You asked as he examined your face.

"You're different." He stated again while pulling out a device and scanning you with it, a small whirring noise emanating from it. "You're not going to the park like everybody else." He said and looked around. "But why? Why you? Why are you the only one not reacting to the Cybermans signal?" He asked.

"What, the blue hell, are you talking about?" You asked a bit stubbornly, extremely confused. You slowly back up to your door and unlocked it.

The man followed you and continued to scan you. You walked in and weren't to surprised or relatively scared that the man followed you, he gave you a sense of security.

He kept staring at you while you grabbed an apple and bit into it. While you were chewing he took your apple and set on the counter, out of your reach. "Hey I was eating that!" You exclaimed and reached for it.

"No time. We've got to go!" He said and took your hand, pulling you outside.

"What!? Where are we going?!" You demanded and stumbled behind the tall, lanky man.

"You will be upgraded." You both heard behind you and you slowly turned on your heels. You were greeted by the emotionless metal faces of multiple Cybermen, thankfully they were far away.

You turned to him as he turned to you and he grabbed your hand. "Run."
